What are you using as a setup? I Love the Shots

I'm using a Pentax K20D, most frequently with a 15mm lens, but sometimes with a 43mm. All the infrared shots are done hand-held, typically at f/10, the blurred water shots are tripod mounted done at f/16 to f/20.

And thanks! :)

thanks... well i will try to do another one one of these days, but i must admit it took quite a while to make, so i am not really doing that type of pictures very often... but it is nice to know you like it!

I love building guitars and working with everything concerned with guitars and I also love photographing them.

This is one of the self made ones: a Fender Jag-stang model, it has a mahogany body and a maple neck and Duncan Pickups the guitar was photographed on my lazy chair with a green fleece blanket spread out.

This is my selfmade walnut SG Custom, photographed headstock first lying on my kitchen table.

The same guitar from the front lying on the carpeted floor of my apartment.

And here it is with its sister, which I made from the same piece of wood.

But not all guitars I own are self made: here's my recent Fender Squier Jazzmaster, which I modified by replacing the stock all black pickguard and pickup covers by a tortoise shell pickguard and white pickup covers. I photographed it on my bed with a navy blue sleeping bag zipped open as background. I love that guitar.

And here I am playing my Jazzmaster live just today. Not a good quality shot but still.

Would someone please advise me how to put a picture up in here ?
And how do I shrink the thing to the right dimensions?.

afaik, if the pciture is supposed to be visible right here, it has to be online somewhere first. so if you have an online album somewhere, you can just copy the link from there, and use the "insert image" thingy on top of the reply box. not sure you can change the size like that though, i suppose it has to be online in the size you want, already...

Okay, in response to the post that says you can only post images that are already hosted on the internet. Well, that's not entirely true. You can post your own images by clicking on the attach icon. However, when attaching images there are height and width requirements as well as size. It cannot exceed a height of 600 pixels, nor be wider than 800 pixels. 100kb is the max size of the file.

Once the file is attached to the forum posting, you can view the image by clicking on its link. This gives you access to the URL. Copy the URL, then go back to the forum posting in progress. Click on the insert image button and paste in the URL. This will make the image appear within the text of the forum post (where it'll get noticed!):cattail:

Wow.. this thread used to be popular.. Throbbs, not sure how good an idea it was to move everything to the Visual Artist's corner after all..

Not sure if this is appropriate...

If not, I'll take it down.

Original photography by me in my studio.

Yeah. kinda lost/hidden in the "corner".
Even as a SUB-forum of the Authors' Hangout, I THINK there was more traffic, but Literotica, in general, felt a bit different back then.

Not just a bit. It was very different.

I'd like to get some of that back...
ebbs and flows
waxes and wanes

not sure how to help facilitate that.

Me either.. I try to start more involved threads and they just flop. Nothing comes of it at all.

Yes, I know.

I've tried to ask questions... and post variety...
and...

*sigh*

If it isn't political or mindless fun, seems few are interested. I'm guilty of partaking in the mindless fun threads as well. But I do like depth. Actual conversation.
