No , don't stop now!!!

OK, if you insist.........

Another one from the desert, taken just before sunset as we were heading home after a drive round the valley. I took so many pictures of the mountains surrounding the valley, magnificent and majestic. Some, like this one, really caught my interest.

.......or did you mean pictures from back in Britland??

Like this one? Taken last January, sitting on a cliff edge, overlooking the English Channel. Just before sunset.

You should create an account at istockphoto.com & upload these, mat. You could make a bit of change off the downloads.

*dykish curtsey*......thank you. I love the sea, have lived within walking distance of it all my life. The seasons and times of the sea have a magic and majesty all of their own.

This one was taken on the same day, but earlier in the afternoon, on a riverside walk. I was very pleased with the effect.

People pay to download the photos and use them (royalty-free). You get a percentage of that.

.........and just before I monopolise this thread, a last one taken last May, on a woodland walk....I adore bluebells when they grow in stunning drifts, like these. It was like looking at a sea of blue. There really is something quite ethereal about the English countryside on a spring day.

I'm going to boast about my photographic abilities again. :)

... any takers for art photos? ;) I'm looking for advances because my old camera is ... well ... not much good anymore, frankly. So, if yer in the neighborhood an' want yer photo taken I'll do it gratis and free of charge, just help me a bit wiv' my new cam'ra o'scura. :D
Very nice picture... though the "happy new year" is just written by computer on your picture, it somehow makes me think of the invitation cards my parents used to send out for their parties many years ago, where they would write the invitation text on the back of a naked friend of theirs, take different pictures of her, and send those out as invitations.

here is another one of the salt mines, and one that is taken from inside the kitchen of some friends of mine...

Love this one, the way the blue pops out at you, reminicent of an impressionist painting. :rose:

That's exactly it!!

...and another.......taken on the same walk, towards the end, but further into the woods. Magic. I could almost feel the pixies and elves, and found myself looking over my shoulder as I was walking along. :D

.................and a final one for now, time to start on supper.

This was taken at the very end of the walk, after emerging from the woods, and walking the last 2 miles alongside a river and reed bed.
