It doesn't take much.dysphemist said:Glad it amuses you.
I love that one...little fishes and all.SummerMorning said:And a bit of summer, because you sound cold.

It was the little fishes...they are so cute and captured beautifully.dysphemist said:Looks like you're amused again.

Like this one? Taken last January, sitting on a cliff edge, overlooking the English Channel. Just before sunset.
impressive said:You should create an account at istockphoto.com & upload these, mat. You could make a bit of change off the downloads.

matriarch said:Huh?? 'change off the downloads'??
Explain to this luddite, please.
impressive said:People pay to download the photos and use them (royalty-free). You get a percentage of that.
Very nice picture... though the "happy new year" is just written by computer on your picture, it somehow makes me think of the invitation cards my parents used to send out for their parties many years ago, where they would write the invitation text on the back of a naked friend of theirs, take different pictures of her, and send those out as invitations.SummerMorning said:I'm going to boast about my photographic abilities again.
... any takers for art photos? I'm looking for advances because my old camera is ... well ... not much good anymore, frankly. So, if yer in the neighborhood an' want yer photo taken I'll do it gratis and free of charge, just help me a bit wiv' my new cam'ra o'scura.
Love this one, the way the blue pops out at you, reminicent of an impressionist painting.matriarch said:.........and just before I monopolise this thread, a last one taken last May, on a woodland walk....I adore bluebells when they grow in stunning drifts, like these. It was like looking at a sea of blue. There really is something quite ethereal about the English countryside on a spring day.

that is a very nice picture! I like how bright the green is, and the colors in general...matriarch said:.................and a final one for now, time to start on supper.
This was taken at the very end of the walk, after emerging from the woods, and walking the last 2 miles alongside a river and reed bed.
