>.> I don't think you seem like a meathead at all... I can tell you have a wonderful mind and I really enjoy your posts here. Thank you very much for gracing my thread! I don't know. I have a pretty extensive knowledge of the human body and how it moves, and I was able to back up the reasons for the way I answered the questions. Before I had ever taken the class, I had read probably 5 different books covering anatomy. Mainly structural and kinetic anatomy, and books covering movement impairment syndromes and how to fix them, along with papers written by people like Vladimir Janda, Thomas Myers, Shirley Sahrmann, Gray Cook, etc. I probably knew more about structural and kinetic anatomy than the professor did.
(I know I kinda look like a dumb meathead, but I'm really not.)

I really admire you. I initially wanted to become a physical therapist and I loved A&P in highschool (got to dissect cats, one cat to three people. I had a pretty good school). However, I got injured in the army and I'm not able to lift peple now (back injury). So, now I just aspire to go into massage therapy, hopefully medicinal massage.
lol funny story about dissecting... we had cow eyes one time and the professor was talking about how the eye lens was formed and how it's actually just layers. WELL! My lab partner decided to try pinching it really hard to see if he could start sluffing off the layers. (he eventually did) However, the lens was still wet with formaldehyde (spelling?) and I was across the lab table, looking at the teacher as he was talking. >.> just guess what happened......... Yes. It shot out from between his fingers, straight across the table, and down my shirt. And it got stuck in my cami.
Yeah... that's my blade. ^ ^ lol You're awesome.Looks can be deceiving.....Some of my " old fart" customers scoff at my long hair & tats; then don't know what to think when I explain something in depth to them. I have always gotten off on the " breaking stereotypes" thing.

Thank you! ^ ^ And thanks for posting on my thread again. You were certainly missed! It's nice to see you again!

lol well, you're forgiven XP I think it's great to love reading the writing of others. It's a wonderful passion. I do, but I've gotten out of it, so I don't have the desire anymore, it's more like when it happens, I like it.Please forgive my effusive praise. I enjoy reading the writing of others. It's exciting. Anywho, hope you're doing great!
oh, I think I'll pass with it, but still. >.< (thanks for the support!)sorry to hear it wasn't an ideal essay. Hope you get some credit for it though. I know how disappointing these things can be.
LOL what would the top of that list be?Did you try your best?
That is all I could ask for...
No I lied...there is a lot more I could ask for![]()
Morning ^ ^Good morning/afternoon, Hana
I'm sorry it turned out that way. I know that can be very discouraging and you did try really hard. The fact that you researched and studied hard and knew what you were talking about should have counted for more. That part about not getting an A because you were taking it late makes it sound like she was against you from the start.
I hope today is a great day for you!![]()
Well, people won't know you know unless you show you know, which is what I didn't do so well =/ so it's fair and all, and I really did show all I knew. unless I really do know it, but just forgot it, in which case I wouldn't have known it enough to make a difference and it's still a fair assessment.
She's really a wonderful professor, and she'd postponed it for me a lot. I share a car with my parents still, so two other appointments we'd set up fell through because my parents had other plans and had the car elsewhere. The fact that she let me make it up even after several no-shows from me is a great show of kindness in itself. Me not being able to get an A because it was too long after the initial exam is a solid rule. She didn't make it up just to punish me.
