Good Morning,
All is well. Now that we are aware of baby moving around and kicking, we've noticed he often gives a couple of good kicks right after Daddy and Mommy make love.

That is funny but not unusual about the baby kicking when the parents make love. Why not, there's increased heart rate, bumping and grinding, moaning. That would wake up any baby

Erm...okay. Well, isn't it impossible to have sex for nearly a period of two months (a month before and one after the delivery) during pregnancy? I was just thinking if the sexual urge also goes down at the same time, or does it growl like a monster in a closed attic?

Wow, time is really moving fast . . . do you believe I'm at the beginning of my 8th month! It's amazing to think that what seems like just a little while ago I was sad and lamenting because I wasn't showing and now the cops have to clear a path for me when I go out. No, seriously my doctor says everything is progressing on schedule, our baby is gaining weight and getting stronger each day (which is evidenced when he decides to kick, move or change position).

I did have some concerns about the leaking colostrum. I explained how, sometimes the front of my blouse or shirt is obviously damp, and sometimes in the mornng the sheets under my breasts are wet and that it seemed to be triggered when "M" was around me. Did this mean that the baby might be coming sooner than we expect since I seemed to be lactating so early. She didn't think the birth of our baby would be more or less than a week to 10 days from our scheduled due date of 10/2 if that.

She seemed to think that my leaky breasts might have more to do with "M's" constant attention to them. His obvious enjoyment in sucking, licking, kissing them (my words not her's) was a constant source of stimulation that encourages development and production. Hormones, affection, physical touching and male pheromones probably have alot to do with it and why I leak when he's with me, but that stimulus source will change and be transferred to the baby after the birth. So not to worry or be concerned.

Well . . . gotta go, he's upstairs waiting, he's found some god awful movie on Netflix that he wants to watch . . . good night all

Agreed. To tell you the truth, how you people manage to pull yourselves through this whole process (pre- and post-delivery) is something I will never understand. It's just so freaking scary!

I'm also very pleased that he decided to take some time off to be with us. Of course I have my Mom and sisters (who all already have kids), but they are there as "consultants" if we need them . And I will definitely stay in touch.

Yes, we're both looking forward to the baby's arrival. From talking with "M", I know that his childhood, family background was nowhere like the "Leave it to Beaver" one that I enjoyed and I suspect that could be part of the reason that this baby is so special for him, he's wanted and loved our baby from the moment I told him I was pregnant. We'll just have to make sure he doesn't spoil him rotten
