I love vintage travel stuff. Planes, trains, ships. Flying seemed so much more luxurious back then, even though I am sure it was loud as hell and probably shook all over the place!

Hard not to like the later Griffon Spitfires with the bubble canopy and cut down rear fuselage.

A neighbour flew the Hurricane. For a time he was in Bader's wing, then to Mossie's. Some amazing chats with him.

Extraordinary what they did inserting and extracting people. I understand there were two women flying in that group.
