Yes and no. Posters are made out of paper. Wallscrolls are made out of fabric.

And no, a wallscroll is not a poster. They're not made from paper. Usually they're made from either silk or bamboo slats between or around two cylinders. It's a scroll that you put on your wall. It generally refers to such things that have an anime or video game motif, such as a character pictured on them.
