Yes, I agree. Perhaps it will shrivel up entirely and the poof! it's gone.;)

I don't think I have shared with you all that I can visualize things quite well....

Has anybody seen the Australian Tourism Board's new advertising campaign,
"Where the Bloody Hell are We"?
It has caused quite a stir here because of the use of the word bloody, as usual opinions are very polarised.
Thoughts.

Let's get back on task, shall we?

Q for all: are you influenced by trends in fashion (thinking clothing here)?

No, I have to say that I am, for the most part, blissfully unaware of what's chic and what's not. I did, however, put my poodle skirt away last year. ;)

I know for a fact that you are too young to have worn a poodle skirt when they were the height of fashion, so you're excused for hanging on to an antique as long as you did. ;)

Still wearing penny loafers here. With tassels, even. :D

that depends... are penny loafers stylish now?

i'm a jeans guy. plain and simple. a bit of a clothes horse though (for a guy at least).

I would love to be a clothes horse but quite frankly I don't fit the "runway model" mold. I am just happy when I find clothes that don't make me look either 10 or 60.

Nope...never have been...never will be. No one would call my style trendy...though I do have style.

*thanks to my Dad who never accepted as an answer to why I wanted something...'because everyone else has one'*

We're from the same mold, I think. I can't say if anything is trendy because I don't pay attention to the magazines and other media sources that tell people what's trendy. All I know is that when I shop for shoes, the ones I like are generally available. And yes, they are sometimes penny loafers.

i am generally pretty aware of what's trendy, but then again, i work in the fashion industry. that said, i don't believe i'm particularly influenced by the trend du jour. i still think the monochromatic look that regis philbin popularized looks lame.
