I'm looking for album covers or posters of a 60's/70's band, I have no idea who they are, all I can remember is that their covers seemed to contain pics of metal dragonflys or similar. I think it was a single name band, anyway people I'm going to bed and I expect results when I get back.

if it's yes you're thinking of i can surely help. they crossed my mind but i don't really remember any dragonflies... maybe try the cover of "relayer" though... it was somewhat metallic looking if memory serves.

roger dean did most of their cover art and they're all fantastic IMO. a lot of soft, gothic-looking (for want of a better way to describe it) fantasy art.

I knew you would have some ideas, definitely metallic, reminds me of the ornithopter thingies from Dune, I'm going on memories from waaaaaaay back here, I definitely remember the writing from YES, I assumed they were linked, but I could be wrong.

well... i don't know what an ornithopter is. if it's yes, i can't think of any covers (save for the one SJ suggested) that has a flying anything on it. they're all fantasy landscape-type covers with little exception. the older ones are much simpler designs but still of the same motif.

there's a craft of some sort on the cover of fragile... but it's very small and set atop a 2d image of the earth. i can't remember if it's more boat-ish or plane-ish though. i'm really drawing a blank on all other yes cover art. of course, roger dean did cover art for other bands and just other art in general. then again, we could be considering the wrong band alltogether.

Umm yes we could, I remember seeing this stuff in a shop window when I was *mumblecough* years old so it's possible my recollection could be a bit off.

i've always loved his artwork... now that i think of it, it's about your style (based on your AV's) though i don't know that i've ever seen him do dragons and the like.

Woah, flashback dooooood, yeah his work was definitely involved, now I'm wondering whether it was Osibisa's elephant, although in my mind it was a flying metallicy thingy, guess I shouldn't have done all those drugs when I was younger... oh crap I didn't do drugs, I guess I'm just being anile.
Anyway I've had a great time looking through his stuff.

From what I have read on a few different pages if you just remove the shoot it should be ok, maybe lacking in flavour a bit.
Meatrub:
Off the top of my head ( yeah, I know what I said too) cracked pepper, olive oil and lime zest, sounds nice to me anyway.

I feel it's my duty to warn all about the evils of chapstick, you just wouldn't look the same if your lips fell off.

Hell I'd put it on anything (the meatrub(still sounds naughty doesn't it)), a nice steak or hunk of roast beef, but then again I taint no epicurean although I suspect it might be a bit overpowering on lamb. This seems more like a Yank or Silver thing really.
