I am a keyboard short cut user. The fewer times I need to take my hands away to touch a mouse or even the numeric keypad the happier I am.

And hi darlin' Maria. Good to see you! I'm livin' life out at 40 below around here. Nearly finished school (thank goodness) then it's on to working for a living.. <boo=on></hiss off> lol

I use the keypad and function keys extensively for shortcuts when I'm working in Emacs. Save myself lots of typing or mouse work. Much of my work is done with plain text without formatting so a powerful text editor is quite useful.
Think I used HTML in a posting about a year ago for italics etc. That way it gets in automatically. But have to use vB here. Perhaps vB is parsed faster?
