This week is National Radiologic Technologist week. So if you know a Rad Tech (and everyone who posts on this thread does) show her (ME) some love! In case you need a reason to love an RT (aside from my sweet nature) here are 11:
1. We do our best work in the dark;
2 We can see through your clothes;
3 We know all the positions;
4 We are well developed;
5 The chemistry is always right;
6 We know what buttons to push;
7 We have all the right techniques;
8 We know how to warm up a tube;
9 We know how to get the best penetration (a hard beam + tight collimation);
10 We do it on the table and sometimes we slip it in the bucky;
11 When you need it now, we make it wet.

It is drab! Add in the fact we can't have windows...well sometimes we feel like vampires! You can always spot an xray tech walking thru the hospital, we''re the only ones shielding our sensitive eyes near the windows!
I don't have bunny ears, but I do have kitty cat ears...do those count?
