Random things you've made up for your stories

I made up a name of a fight club/bar called "Jawbreaker's." I thought it was clever beacuse well you could get your jaw broken in there since they cage fight. I also created a name of a cologne and cigarette brand called "Underside whale and Mountainside Menthol" for my main male character :)
I like Jawbreakers, that's a fun concept.

The Wolf's Den-A strip Club which I used in my SWB series then mentioned in "The Devil in Mom" e-book
Mitch's a dive biker bar also originally from SWB, that I featured in the Breaking of Allison and a few years later in a milf story.
Sexcapades, my fictional version of amazing superstore, which debuted in Gloryhole housewives and has been mentioned in at least three other stories.
"A&S advertising." Featured in my first story here Almost Perfect and resurfaced in Seal the Deal in Loving wives.

The Revenants. Not featured on lit at all, but a group of highly trained killers, some former black ops for their respective countries. Their name derives from the fact all had their deaths faked and were wiped from the system at one point.

Oh, I've also created a detailed description for an electrical generator that uses spent nuclear fuel in a non-nuclear reaction to create petawatts of electricity in each burst and the fuel is renewable and zero pollution.

Better not tell them there's a ton of wet work being performed here! šŸ˜€

A couple of the ladies in my big story inform the MMC that they found a "new bar" oriented towards women's nights out, Las Bolas Azules. One of the girls invited the MMC for a date there, which he understood going in that he was likely to be the main attraction for the evening. Almost, but mostly it was the discovery that it was an out-and-out fuck club hidden in an industrial park, where ladies' memberships were free, guys were $800 a year, "play rooms" in the back.

Could be the name of a club or restaurant, business or perhaps a fictional website, actor/actresses name of a movie, pretty much anything/one you created. Bonus for if you've revisited them in other stories as sort of Easter eggs or making your own sort of mythos by tying things together.

A few of my stories have dealt with women who were either former porn stars or trying out the industry because of financial reasons. I created a porn star "Molly Minx" who's name has been dropped whenever a character in a story is watching 'mom porn'. I have a porn director named Malcom Stone of Stone Cold Productions who produces taboo porn and has a back story of unrequited love for his mother who passed away and in two stories he has paid mother and sons he's encountered who need money to have sex in front of him

Along the same lines are made up porn series like "In between teens" a group sex series and Barely Legal Backdoor babes. The Masked Milf.

My more series creation that I've built a lot around in my horror novels-but was first mentioned here in my SWB series is The Black Flame an old hotel converted into a multi level adult club with each floor catering to a certain crowd and run by a woman the city sees as an eccentric recluse, but is a powerful witch who rarely leaves the club because people die when she does.

Us clever writers make shit up all the time, so what are some of yours and which ones tend to get repeat mentions.
In my current in-progress story (genre: alien tentacle monster *sigh*) I make up a toxic gas called SLT4.

Now you cold add a U in there somewhere, but itā€™s genesis was instead me referring, on AH, to attending a Senior Leadership Team meeting at work, employing the acronym šŸ™ƒ.

Well if we're gonna talk about real places, there's a pet grooming shop here called "Doggie Styles".

Here's a local 'nail' place.

One of the funniest things I saw, and wish I'd had my phone with me was when I had my comic shop there was a spa/salon across the street. They used to put out a sign that advertised free facials. One time I look out and there's the two girls who work there carrying it. My wife was behind me and said "How can they not know?"
My guess is they did.

Does making up my own alien species and technology count? Because that's what I did in The White Room šŸ˜†.

I'm hoping to have the sequel up in a few weeks that expands on the whole thing even more.

I'm writing my AI story, meaning I've got a whole bunch more today.

Zoom = Whoosh
OnlyFans = Pixboox Passion Pit

I'm not replacing the originals with thinly-veiled copies because I'm afraid of getting sued or something; I'm doing it so that I can invent my own functionality. So if what I want my characters to do doesn't ring true on OF, no biggie; they can just do it on their Pit feed instead. Pixboox is, as I think I've said before, my version of Facebook.

"TikiePix" is my characters' version of TikTok.

Ah, see, I don't have a TikTok!

If I need one? I'd just give Pixboox more functionality. Its founder, Mike Fuckerberg, is extremely responsive to market shifts.

I recently invented The Contra Tempos, a one-woman musical act that intentionally blends and butchers all natural languages to craft lyrics and non-lyrics for her trippy, heavy-retro-sampling, melty, Bjork-like songs.

Then I did absolutely nothing with it - not even a late-story callback! Sigh.
