is a catch all for anything they don't feel OK with posting. Snuff just happens to be in there. No, it's far from a snuff story, but it does have degradation and even some abuse of characters in it. But, as for any of it being excessive...I guess that's for the reader to decide. And, I'm guessing some could see violence in there, too. Again, it's the reader who decides that.

I had trouble getting Laurel to allow "My New Boss" to be in the BDSM section. That's actually why I posting the installments here. She put the story in the nonconsent area, because there was bondage. I don't think she understands some of the feelings of her site's readers, or she's trying to control things, to keep her site out of any trouble.

And I understand that. She's got priorities. I thought there might be a problem getting this one published, from the beginning. I guess I was right. There are other ways to get the story out, though. Anyone got ideas that I might look into? I could send you all personal copies, but that would be a lot of emails for me. LOL.

lets all jump over to the stories and begin counting how many include excessive degradation, violence, and abuse. i mean come on..... countless stories are about rape..... isn't rape to be considered degrading, violent and abusive (but i guess this is where the excessive word comes into loophole). snuff i can't speak on because i didn't find any.

for what it's worth....i thought the story was GREAT! and i would NOT change any portion of the content. the story would not be as intense and watering it down would not do justice to the characters. SPENCE RULES

Taking it all out would be the only option and that's just not going to happen.

I thought about posting it here, but it's over 20,000 words. That would be too long of a post, because I can't break it up like I do this other story, because it's just not that kind of story.

And, I don't think the Lit PTB would be very thrilled that I posted it here, if they had rejected it for their story section. I'm thinking of ways. I might even send Laurel a PM, asking about it. She did finally see it my way on the "My New Boss" thing, so maybe she will see this. Actually, she might not have been the one to reject it. It could have been someone else. Who knows. I'm not that up on the people who work for her, or even how many there are.

Don't give up, yet. There are ways to get things done. If I find a way. I'll post it here, so everybody knows what's going on. I've boasted about this damn story for nearly two years now. It isn't going to die like this.

~ Isn't the normal turn around time supposed to be 72 hours? That's what I thought. My last story that got submitted - after a 2 yr. dry spell when I only edited - was approved and placed on the boards within that time frame.

And now that I spent all last Saturday writing... and submitting Chapter 2 this past Tuesday... it's taking longer than that allotted time. *Grrrr*
