HT, our ever steady Rooftop manager... for keeping the place open and aired out. When everything else changes so much in the world its nice to know that some things are still the same. Even if the view is only in my minds eye, its nice to come back to the Roof and find familiar faces waiting.

Sienna, welcome back...and yes, I do remember who you were before. Nice to see you again. Congratulations on the new bundle of joy.

Angel, you're not as frequent a visitor as you used to be, I hope that means that your life is filled with joy and good times that are keeping you busy.

Jaen, the bells had to go, the jingling was driving me Mad! Glad you liked them though.

Drinks are on me. It's my son's birthday. 27 years ago I was privilaged to see the beginning of the greatest thing I have ever done. If I never do anything else, helping to create that fine young man has made the world a better place. Happiness has elude me from time to time but he has been a constant star in my firmament.

I'm moving to a new apartment next week, so I may disappear for a bit, but I'll be back, just as soon as I get the internet turned on. In the meantime, pop the cork on the bubbly and let's celebrate the end of the New Year. Years come and go, but friendships linger like fine wine.

While we are talking about hot .. I haven't figured out if we still have autumn or if it is spring already but 45 degrees outside, people seeing mosquitos at christmas, the lilac having large sprouts . spring flowers that are blooming. Can someone please explain what is happening here

I visited the Post office yesterday. Why can't you trust your Postal service any longer ? Life isn't what it used to be since we got email.
