Lately, I've hit a bit of a creative slump when it comes to my own ideas. So I've taken to preferring to be approached.

Hmm.

Tough one. I always assumed that, like every other aspect of literotica, any lady posting a request for writers is going to get swamped so would only respond to such a request if it was something that really, really interested me.

Which is how I picked up 4 of my current SRPs, although 1 of them seems to have died an early death.

Another of the current ones (and the one that naturally ended) I started with somebody who was a chat partner before she was a writing partner, because it was clear to me that she would be a really articulate and fun co-writer.

Another was started by a co-writer for me as a present/bribe, as she tailored it specifically to my particular fantasy. I've had offers to start new threads from three of my other co-writers, but I think seven is pushing it already if I want to keep up to any kind of standards. (especially on top of regular chat and email commitments)

Only one of my current SRPs was a result of being approached, but being approached spontaneously is *hugely* flattering, and I'd have a hard time turning down such another approach if the lady in question seemed articulate.

I'm probably sounding a little arrogant, but I should make clear that I have been *very* lucky to find the writing partners that I have. I don't know what I was expecting from the SRP forum when I first joined, but I was delighted and surprised to be involved with writers of such quality, who by inviting me into their stories inspired me to work harder at the quality of my own posts. I have been stretched and challenged and taken to places I never expected to go and it has been a hugely positive experience.

Thank you, ladies. You know who you are.
