Oh, 100%. Truly, the best thing of all is to feel comfortable being open with someone - to talk freely, not worry about sounding stupid (or overly intellectual and high-minded), and to feel like you're learning from and about other people on here.

I completely agree with this. As much as anything I feel like it's the feeling that you're in something of a shared headspace with someone - where you've got to know each other well enough to understand not just what they enjoy, but a lot of the drivers and triggers for why they might enjoy something, too. And vice versa, of course.

And by that point, if you clearly click with each other well on a basic 'sense of humour/ fun, flirtatious conversation' level as well, then you're in an ideal position to really play and toy with each other's minds and kinks and pleasures in ways that are really powerful.

It's rare that you get into conversations with someone where you connect on a deeper level like that.
