Actually just watched this one. An absolute classic. Special bonus, it's also the name of a Clash song.

Dammit it’s 7 a.m.

Confession, listened to the song many times. Never actually watched the movie. Or 7 Samurai. Did see part of the remake. It was not uhmm good.

Haha Yeah, I never bothered with the remake. 7 Samurai I haven't seen in forever. It's one of those cinemaphile movies that's on the "must watch or you're a poser" movie snob list.

Yeah and while I’m a snob I’m also a bit of contrarian. I’ve no doubt I’d love Kurosawa but I love the look in random film nerd’s eyes when I tell them I don’t watch him. Man brains are weird.

I love the first old one as well! I saw it on the cinema when I was a teen (before vcr they showed movies on Sundays that was some years old for half price). I was a car nerd already then and loved the movie from the start!
