September Film Challenge 🎬

Saltburn_Film_Poster.jpg

The bathtub and graveyard scenes are burned into my brain. I was happy to hear Murder on the Dancefloor again though 😊
It ranks in my top 10 movies I wish I had never seen. 😂

This group is mostly the same people as my song challenge but a little different. So allow me to explain the rule again. ONE FILM. That’s it. One. Pick one. Mention only one, unless you want to comment on someone else’s choice which is of course fine and encouraged. But if you list all the choices you almost picked but didn’t or that you’re torn between, thats the same as picking more than one.

This reminds me of people who buy cars or appliances, but never read the manual. 🤣🤣

Day 18: A film you couldn't stop thinking about
This is one of my favorite films. I almost used it for the book prompt but it would have been a bit of a reach.
This scene that I’ve linked, in particular, is one that has stuck with me pretty permanently. I haven’t quite been able to adopt the mindset but it’s a good reminder.

Day 18: A film you couldn't stop thinking about
Irreversible (2002)
A disturbing movie that I managed to sit through despite hearing all about the audience reactions at Cannes. I still think about but will not be able to watch it again.

So, would you say your movie going experience was "irreversible"? 🤔

I will see myself out...
