Sex & Shenanigans

At it again... Welcome to the monotony of my life. I hate that I have packing for a week down to this level of efficiency. And also feel like that in itself is kind of an accomplishment 😊

I'm in awe of you. Teach me your ways!

I have no concept as to how to pack light. Seeing onky one pair of shoes there gives me a slight panic attack

I wear my sneakers on the plane. I need those to work out. The shoes build the rest of my wardrobe. Navy trousers and a maroon corduroy skirt/tights. All shirts and cardigans go with everything. I'll take outfit pics for you if I remember and show you.
This season is pretty easy. Once it starts getting cold out and I need coats and boots it gets a little difficult.

Fun fact most people don’t realize: outerwear doesn’t count as a carry-on or personal item on a plane. You can wear it or carry it, and load those pockets!

Saaame! I “but what if I need this?” evvverything! And I need clothing options for different scenarios, weather, in case of spills…spontaneous formal events 🤣
I had a trip to DC last year that necessitated a full luggage set. I had to pack for different scenarios like that and even smuggled a ball gown across country. I ended up buying myself a weekender bag there because I couldn't figure out how to get it all to fit back in to my original luggage. I think I took five pairs of shoes on that trip #ridiculous

I make a habit of including a bag that folds small, just in case!

I often go up to Berlin for different "parties" which usually call for different styles of outfits. I now have a bag that I leave with the hotel I use and take a picture of the 'inventory' so I can work out what bits can be used in a fresh outfit.
Needless to say lots of Black and Kilty type pieces 🤣

I save pics of my clothes and use them to put outfits together, either when I’m not in my room or don’t want to unfold everything and make a mess.

When I went to a family bridal shower a couple weeks ago, I couldn’t decide on which elements to use to accessorize. I didn’t want to throw everything on at once and have it be “too much,” so I used a fashion app to decide which elements would have the best overall effect. Hair up or down? Size/shape of purse? Heels or boots? Will it be cold enough for leggings and/or a cardigan? Which jewelry pieces? Ended up with an overall effect that was a close-ish approximation to this:

Ah, the excitement and dangers of being a ball gown smuggler....

Wowee, what an outfit.

I only hope the hotel staff don't take a look inside my bag when it is in their storage  they might get a shock.... mind you, it is Berlin so they are probably used to it 😈

V sliding into your thread with an unsolicited dikdik pic.
