Sex & Shenanigans

My poor daughter:

Dang it I asked for pickles...

Me: well go fix it

Her: looking up at the counter in defeat. ..... It's fine.
Yeppers!!

(except, I would never ask for pickles 🤣🤣🤣 )

Omg I went to a McDonald’s drive in for the first time in a while a couple months back, I was so stressed because I couldn’t read the menu very well and it’s all different and I didn’t know what was where anymore 🤣. I got my chicken sandwich and fries but it was a battle!
They have pictures for the reading impaired ;)

Well, Mr. Smarty pants, what if... what if you are out driving, and you forgot your glasses? Or if you are alone and almost legally blind? What about them? Well, Mr Smarty Pants??

*runs out of the room giggling... smacking the wall in the process, since my glasses are in the other room*

tbf, just going to mcdonald's and ordering off the menu is a scam...order on the app and pick up at the window or pickup lane...they charge almost half as much for the same items on the app as they do on the menu.

Everyone should have to wait tables, work retail on black Friday, and be a bank teller Friday afternoon. The world would be a more kind place if we all knew what it felt like to be support staff.
Yep. Even walking through stores near the holidays I hear people talking to these retail workers and I’m like
“Really? You’re taking out your frustration on someone who’s literally doing nothing but trying to help you?”

“Classy. Get yourself behind that counter right now and do a better job. I guarantee you’ll fuck it up.”

*edited to add: and work a fast food drive through!
I don’t disagree that it would help a lot of people to get that perspective but I think it’s so sad that a lot of people need to experience something to have empathy and compassion for it.

I’ve never worked retail or food service and I’m still always kind and respectful to everyone!

Yep…there’s a lot of people out there like that though

You're right, most of us can pause and be kind. Sadly, some people have no ability to empathize and we live in an increasingly entitled world.
