Avoiding y'all......no. Avoiding people in general? Maybe. :rolleyes:

No felonies - yet. I haven't been able to quit smoking altogether, but I cut way back. I'm comfortably smoking 5 cigs/day - down from ~30/day. Don't believe anything BB says about me being a stark, raving, homicidal maniac of a bitch. Frankly, I don't have the energy to be bitchy, homicidal, or maniacal.

I did have a long chat with my cardiologist today. He changed all of my cardiac meds. We'll see what happens now. The side effects will go away, but the chest pain/arrhythmias may or may not come back. Lovely. OK, that's only half true. The chest pain never really went away at all. I've been feeling really lousy - all my days off are spent pretty much on the couch; I work, do my schoolwork (at the last minute), and that's about it. No energy at all. That's a side effect of the medicine, and that's why I pressured the doc today to make the changes. I haven't really been avoiding anybody; I just haven't felt like spending much time on the computer, and I'm really bad company right now.

Hopefully I'll have better updates soon. *rubs your gif's Buddha belly for luck*

I have good news to report. I smoked 1/2 a cig yesterday (I put it out when I realized I didn't really want it after all), and I don't even want one today. I think I may be whipping this thing - finally.

Mr. Beachy hasn't smoked (that I know of) for 2 days.

YAY!

hmm - I have it on good authority that a young pmann would hump'a'lump - I mean anything that would offer a teeny bit of resistance - hard surface - soft surface - so a giant snail? Well there you go - hard and soft all in one :D
 
Thanks everybody. Three days and counting. And no felonies. Yet. I'm gonna change my name to Hyponicotinemic though. Lol. How about hyponicotinemic and hypocaffeinemic? Y'all can call me H&H for short. :D

What's this about the giant snails? That's the first I've heard about it. I've seen a few really huge snails but didn't realize it made world news. We have one shell in the front yard that's bigger than a golf ball. I wonder if that's the kind of snail they're talking about?

I can deal w giant snails, but they have to earn their keep. I'm easy. They can either eat snowbirds (aka tourists from up north), Mosquitos, fire ants, palmetto bugs, those big ass nasty spiders we gotta deal with, druggies, or gang members. Ok throw illegal aliens and panhandlers on the menu as well. I'm perfectly happy to co-exist with them, but there's no free ride. They need to get busy. See? In the grand scheme of paradise we call Florida, giant snails aren't that big a problem. They gotta wait their turn. :D
 
You're not gonna believe this shit. I'm in the damned ER. Again. Potassium a little low but not too bad. BP was outrageously high.

I'm so tired of this.

I'm home. They couldn't tell me much but they gave me meds for my BP and pain. I feel lmost decent again.
