Voice or accent?

...This is no lie folks! I've only, erm, come across *that voice* a few times in my life and it puts me on my knees. Wish to hell someone would bottle it. I'd be a resolute addict.

Know what you mean... I met a woman from somewhere a long way outside Paris where they speak French, not the crap we hear in the media. She did evil things to me with her very quiet but quite deep voice. Granted, in a disco she would place her lips next to my ear and talk at a normal quiet pitch, so her lips were brushing my ear... (Pauses to empty 2.5 gal ice-cold H20 down trousers...) but that had nothing as much as her accent to do with the frisson she sent me into. Yummy. Physical appearances did absolutely nothing to the picture, just her voice made her incredibly sexy.
I guess the thing that did it is the roundness of the... the- ah- accent, and the incredible softness of her- umm... her consonants! Parisian accents are all we know of France, but there are some very beautiful ones elsewhere, and the delivery of the accent is all important. Give me a deep throaty voice any day. Make it a Marseilles accent, and I'll hawk my body on the corner to buy me some more of that!

I have posted this elsewhere before but it bears repeating as I understand it to be 'slightly strange' to others.

I find it a major turn on when a woman is being a mom. By that I mean a woman committed to being a good mother for her children. Not an overbearing, overprotective type, but there are too many absent parents, mothers and fathers alike that consider watching their own children babysitting. Isn't this quite bizarre? I mean WTF- I've had my input WRT turn-ons, and I've flambe`ed the ass-tourniquet brigade- but the overwhelming link seems to be this search for contrast. I like the simple/sophisticated contrast and other people like other looks- we even like accents & body-parts & things. But we all seem to be going for this multi-layered complexity all the time. Aren't we (males) just programmed to hunt based on compatibility or reproductive opportunities or something like that?
