Times change and attitudes change.

Largely due to the evidence that tobacco smoking can cause lung cancer and because of all the negative advertising campaigns, tobacco smoking is on the decline for the younger generations. Nicotine is addictive and I am opposed to anything that keeps a person from being free.

Back in the 30's and 40's it was cool and sexy to smoke cigarettes (Bogie and Bacall as examples) and it seemed as though a majority of the population smoked tobacco: primarily cigarettes, or occasionally pipes or cigars for some guys.

Pot smoking used to be frowned on, but lately it has become much more accepted in many areas.

As a non-tobacco smoker, my personal disposition is that seeing a pretty woman smoking a cigarette is a turn-off - her breath and her hair and her clothes will smell like stale tobacco smoke; however, seeing a woman smoking a joint, to me, is a turn-on. Not only is there a particular commonality - I know how she's feeling (the marijuana high), but know that in a sexual situation, the sexual feeling will be enhanced pleasurably. Not everyone will like the smell of marijuana - some kinds are called skunk weed, for a reason - but it's something that I like......and I love the effect when I smoke it. I smoke in moderation, because I like it and not because I have an addiction and am compelled to do so; in fact, for me, it's a freeing feeling.

Different strokes for different folks - whatever floats your boat - and that's just my perspective.
