Smoking Fetish..

^^^ See, now that's an example of LitLegal. No watermark or URL, linked from another site rather than uploaded to Lit as an attachment and not explicit. And since she's facing the camera, we can assume she knows the picture was taken, though we don't know if she granted permission for it to be on the web, let alone to Lit. But again, since it isn't uploaded to Lit as an attachment, that is less of an issue. If she were to complain to Tumbler, it would probably be deleted from there which would also wipe it from here.

Those are the things I look for when reviewing an image.

Mike posts a lot of images I don't like and would rather not see, but that isn't a factor I use. As long as they fit the other areas mentioned, they can stay.

It's very clearly spelled out in a number of places:

=====================================

Copyrighted material for which the submitter is not the owner of the copyright, or for which the submitter does not have an explicit license from the copyright owner to publish the work at Literotica.

https://www.literotica.com/resources/content-guidelines

Do not upload any copyright protected images, text, audio, or video. If you did not create a photo or other work, you probably do not have the legal right to post it on the forum. Fair use laws allow some very limited posting of copyrighted material, such as short excerpts from articles (please limit to under four paragraphs) and screen captures from movies, under certain circumstances. Please do a Google search under “Fair Use” if you want to understand this issue better. Members repeatedly posting copyright materials without authorization of the copyright owner will be banned.

Literotica is a storytelling community based around the publishing of human adult fantasies.

Literotica’s Publishing Guidelines are clear - you must certify that you are the author of AND you own the copyright to any work published on Literotica.

=================

WHY is Lit more concerned about copyright than other forums? Mainly because Lit is here for authors to publish original works who don't want their stories taken by others ... their copyrights violated. People forget that Lit is mainly about the authors and the stories. The forums are an extra add-on to help people fill their time between writing and reading stories.

Lit also has methods of seeking action against other sites that violate authors here. Why then, would they not care about copyright violations on these forums?

Why aren't other Mods as active in their forums? They don't keep up and read their forums. Many are only here a few times a month. Some haven't even logged in for several months. That and THIS particular forum tends to be more active and has more issues that need to be addressed. Personal and the Playground are more active, but concentrate on original content and games, so there is little issue of copyright.

THIS forum was left to go wild for a couple of years as the Mod disappeared. People got used to that wild and aren't accustomed to the rules.

The General Board is a dumping ground, a trash pit. There's even a guideline for us to move things there if they become problems. The only Mod there is Laurel, the site owner. People that violate the rules there are usually banned form the site. That has happened several times recently. But she is extremely busy with the story side and has little time for the forums overall, so doesn't watch that very close, only responding to reports.
Thanks for the explanation. We aren't actually trying to be assholes on this thread.

I just stumbled onto a couple pics of girls smoking bongs. I think joints are sexier, but these ladies make bongs look very sexy, too. Hopefully these don't violate any rules.

I've always been on the fence when it comes to Ann Angel/Smoking Hottie. She is beautiful and has a fabulous body, there's just something weird about her face. Can't put my finger on it exactly. She does some great smoking fetish work, but I've seen videos and she doesn't even inhale, which is a buzzkill for me.
She started smoking purely to enhance the glamour of her material. 😍 She didn't inhale in the early days. I've never thought there was anything odd about her face but she does rely on the eyeliner a bit...
