It just didn't live up to it's potential for me.
For a heathen, I usually like movies about bible prophecy and the like.
Be prepared for it to suck tho, LOL.

i learned, years ago, to have little to no expectations for network tv movies. so i went into this in that same frame of mind and maybe that's why it hasn't alienated me yet.

don't worry... i have plenty to do to occupy my time... so if it starts suckin' i'll abandon it like a knocked up redneck. :)

VOTE VINNICK!

yet another clue

yet another clue to the vinnick/santos outcome... alan alda was on the tony awards last night. need i say more? i didn't see jimmy smits there, did you?

everyone knows this is a prophetic event.

ah, EJ...i worry about you, sir. :>

you won't mock me when i win.

remember what toby said? "they'll like us when we win."

if by "win" you mean "dash about the HT cafe nekkid", no i won't: i find that bad form.

i sense a disconnect from reality here.

Ya know for part of last season I was thinkin we might get a Santos/Vinnick ticket. (ya I know never happen in real life, but I figured television who knows). Leo runnin for vp caught me completely by suprize so I guess anything can happen. Still Jimmys got more air time than Alan so it'll be close, probably have to have a couple recounts in Florida, but Santos will be the new make believe leader of the free world. Hope ya been workin out for your run EJ.

it's ok... i've flown in the face of adversity many times before. :)

i think the momentary tease for the vinnick/santos ticket came from the kerry/mccain idea that was bantered about last election.

i won't be doing any running. mark my words. SW's the one who has to worry about moving quickly enough to make himself into a blur.

EJ: bah, i don't dash; i strut. :>

i also had that vinnick/santos idea and agree it's probably in some part due to the mccain thing.

glad to see you're finally coming to terms with your fate.

and the taunts just keep on comin'.

um...i just open to the last post... :>

this is a very interesting question. i'll have to drop a line to the folks at pcworld.com

have i mentioned that i've only missed ONE survivor cast off in the last four seasons? if you check my blog (which only goes back three seasons i think) you'll see posts from at least 4hrs before air time with the correct loser each and every week... including the one that was wrong. ;)

if we're gonna cross threads

ok... if we're going to mix topics, might as well ask here. lol.

what's meikabeans... don't make me look it up. :D

I don't know about the election...personally, the later seasons of WW have been kind of disappointing to me; I don't see the fire and fight of the early episodes. I got hooked late, but caught it on Bravo where they were showing like 5 episodes a day, so I got caught up pretty quick...I loved that the show was intelligent and did not play to the lowest common denominator but some of the later episodes are making me wonder about that. I do have to say though, it has really reinforced my interest in politics, especially to see a president that I would be willing to vote for, instead of what we currently have in office...

oxphocker, i dig your handle. :>

so you're a fence-sitter about the election? i think that's understandable. :>

ed

Yeah, seems like a lot of shows lose some of their fire after a few seasons. Still worth watching in my opinion.
Maybe things will perk up a bit when Santos is elected. :D
