Isn't bullying a fact of life?
I was fat in grammer school... let me say i hit some of the worst lows in my life at that time. I was the most picked on kid in the entire school. But i learned how to deal with it. If i ran to a teacher or in this case moderator every time not only would i not learn to stand up for myself but i might just make the bullying worse if i tell a teacher. All a teacher could do was tell them they were bad and the next day they'd be out inthe recess yard yet again. Not to mention there's often too many to tell on. I'm a much better person for not trying to avoid the conflict now.
There was no way lancemayon's(sp?) actions would go beyond the computer. He threatened and claimed and make a bunch of bull stories, but he never had proof and i don't think he was ever smart enough to track you by himself (he needs proof to go to the cops and have them track you and do soemthing about it... ). I am very skeptical that any bullying on this board would affect or impinge upon anyone's off-computer life. If this moard means so much to you someone like that idioit should not have been able to spoil it. lancemayon should have been nothing but a blip on the moniter or jsut a nasty fun debate. I was there during his time here and i believe i even took a stance defending richard or rather putting off lancemayon once or twice. but in the end i knew lancemayon was jsut a bunch of BS that would never change and you have to go into things like that knowting that.
"Nobody can make you feel inferior without your consent" and that's all bullies are out there to do.
ok sorry for ranting offtopic i jsut can't stand the word "bully" i think everyone should be bullied at some point. Most of the best people i know were the ones who were bullied.
