Eighteen!! I can't wait until the weekend is over, then it'll only be a fortnight. I'm kinda busy the next two weeks so it'll go in quick I hope!! I've been making plans since yesterday about places to visit, and staying with friends and the like... As long as I just don't think about him going back in June, I'll be fine!

Oh I loved that song, it's lovely. When we started seeing each other we made a playlist that he keeps on his mp3 and I keep on my ipad of songs that we both listened to that reminded us of each other and our story. I've been listening to it all day, it's a playlist I never ever get tired of.

Anyway, I'm glad that happiness is contagious. Every love story, even if they end, have happy moments. They have all kinds of moments. I mean, ours hasn't been smooth, and I'm sure once he returns to the USA we'll miss each other even more because we know what we will have together...

But regardless. I have never anticipated a birthday as much as I do mine at the end of this month. I've hated birthdays, in fact, ever since I was 21. But this one is going to be life-changing. These three weeks with him here will be life-changing... Since the moment I met him, my life has changed. I've never had someone look at me the way he does, say the things he says to me, give me words and looks and gifts with such meaning.

A lot of people say Long Distance Relationships don't work. I used to think that. But after having the atypical doomed relationships in the past, and one failed engagement, my Southern gentleman came along at a point in my life when things were truly bleak. I had built walls around myself that he systematically climbed over, and when I thought I didn't have the ability to love someone, or even be loved, he turned my world on it's head. He showed me how to respect myself, through the way he treats me. I can honestly say I've never felt this way about anybody.

He reached across almost 4,000 miles and healed my broken heart. And when I have him in my arms in another eighteen days...

There just aren't enough words to say how I feel.
