Space for Whatchamacallits

I'm happy you're so happy! Both of you . . . I hope I can experience a love like yours one day <3

Afternoon, everyone!

You will - That's just what it's like to be in love. And the great thing about it is that decades after it's over, it can still put a smile on your face when you think of the person you loved :)

Happy memories :)

Why thank you :)

Don't know why exactly, but this popped into my head. I wonder if I can remember it?

The One Remains

I often think of those pale, perfect faces
My wonder has no looked upon as yet
And of those others, never to be met.
And often pore I on the secret traces
Left in my heart of countenances seen,
And lost as soon as seen, but which mine eye remembers
As my old home, or the lie of landscapes, whereupon my windows lean.

But as for those long-known and worshipped long
But now - alas! - no longer, and the song
Of voices that have sung: "Adieu! We part."
Their reminiscences would cease my heart.
Except I still hoped find, some time, some place
All beauty once, forever, in one face.

Wilfred Owen - probably around 1915 at a guess...

...I'm glad I missed all the sing alongs and group hugs. I have no problem singing but random singing in crowds tends to make me look askance at the ones singing.

and I don't "do" group hugs. Ever.

I would have made a horrid cheerleader, while it seems you all would love to be one. :p

Seven rose bushes were planted outside my bedroom window today. Red roses.

Absolutely can't wait until they blossom.

Depends on how much of the "c*nt area" is affected. I thought it was one thing. Not an entire area. Same as the "womb area".

opens high school biology book

Geez, this is all very informative, really...
I think, if you think about it with your brain area some, you'll see that you've wasted a lot of time.

'So, we'll go no more a roving
So late into the night,
Though the heart be still as loving,
And the moon be still as bright.

For the sword outwears its sheath,
And the soul wears out the breast,
And the heart must pause to breathe,
And love itself have rest.

Though the night was made for loving,
And the day returns too soon,
Yet we'll go no more a roving
By the light of the moon.'

True, true. But it's better than shelling all of these pistachio nuts.

Delicious Cognac, Ms. Serpentine. You are truly the most gracious and considerate of hostesses, and I shall drink to you only with mine eyes.

O my Luve’s like a red, red rose,
That’s newly sprung in June:
O my Luve’s like the melodie,
That’s sweetly play’d in tune.

As fair art thou, my bonie lass,
So deep in luve am I;
And I will luve thee still, my dear,
Till a’ the seas gang dry.

Till a’ the seas gang dry, my dear,
And the rocks melt wi’ the sun;
And I will luve thee still, my dear,
While the sands o’ life shall run.

And fare-thee-weel, my only Luve!
And fare-thee-weel, a while!
And I will come again, my Luve,
Tho’ ’twere ten thousand mile!

Oh I can't decide what to do tonight. I fell asleep watching a crappy movie and my brother just woke me up by skypeing me from Wales, so now I'm awake, and I don't want to have to put on the sequel to aforementioned crappy movie as it's even more crappy.

My options? Netflix. Or XBox.

Help!!

Oh my God, oh my God, oh my God!!!

Just came back from watching "A Swan lake". Not Tchaikovsky's "Swan Lake" as I thought it would be, but a ballet about the ballet "Swan Lake".

Act 1 started with a group of people doing the same things over and over again. Then an ornithologist came along and shot a swan that fell unceremoniously down on the stage. The people doing the repetitive tasks stopped, then started the tasks again, out of synch.

Then the people faded out and a producer was arguing with a writer/composer about makig a musical about horses, then pigs, before reluctantly settling for swans.

As the composer started brainstorming, the people we'd seen before slowly entered the stage and started acting out scenes from Tchaikovsky's "Swan lake". It was all very lighthearted and humorous. :)

Act 2 was basically a celebration of water, very playful and very fun to watch. Odile and Odette made an appearance and fought, but there was very little else to remind us of "Swan lake".

I've never been more pleasantly surprised to be mistaken! :) <3

Sounds like you had a good night!

Just so you know, my earlier facebook comments still stand, I'm still jelly. You had such a cultured evening. I fell asleep watching the travesty that is Twilight.
