Spotlight on....Bobsgirl

Actually, that sex in a wheelchair bit is possible, but you have to be young, horny, and very flexible.

I can concur (that could start some interesting rumours:devil:) and also add that groin to toe plaster is no deterrent either although a fine grade sandpaper is recommended.

It's the music. Really. I'm too old for a crush. Jeez...

Never to old for lust though.

This I know. And thank God for it.

Good night, Q.

I just read a novel called My Name is Alice. It's about a woman who is diagnosed with early onset Alzheimers. A difficult worthwhile read because my MIL has Alzheimers.
A book by the name of SM101 by Jay Wiseman is one I just finished reading again. I learned a lot from that book.

I remembered the artist's name. It's Edward Hopper. I love the way he uses shadows in his painting. The one I was thinking of is a woman sitting in front of an open window. You can almost feel the warmth of sun.

This painting?

I'm sorry to hear about your MIL. I don't know what stage of Alsheimer's that she is in, but depending on how she's handling it, you may want to look into music therapy. It can be very helpful.

Also, what is SM101 about?

Have you ever been pulled over for speeding or any other driving offence?

Did you get off?

The charge, not on it.

Without looking do you know the size of your hard drive?

Are you right brained or left brained? (a percentage will do).

What is the most distant place you've visited (from your home)?

In scale from 1-5, how afraid of dark are you?

What do you label yourself as?

What were you doing at midnight last night?

Last furry thing you touched?

Favourite age you've been so far?

What is your current desktop picture?

What was the last thing you said to someone?

The last song you listened to?

You can press a button that will make any one person explode. Who would you blow up?

You can flip a switch that will wipe any band or musical artist off the earth?

Who would you really like to just punch in the face?

What is your favourite cheese?

Have you ever been arrested?

I have to throw my own two cents.

If you were yogurt, what flavor would you be and would you be fruit on the bottom or mixed?

And if you were a hot dog, would you try to eat yourself?

Do you know the secret to life?

Ridiculous questions, I know, but they always have great answers.

Will you send the new addition to your home under your bed to scout for missing things?

Yes, that's the one! I love that painting! Thanks -- I appropriated the image to use as my wall paper. :)

Thank you for the good thoughts about my MIL. I'll pass the music therapy suggestion along.

SM101 is a really good introduction to BDSM -- good practical advice, as well as a lot of wisdom about the whys and wherefores.

Did you get off?

The charge, not on it.

No, never pulled over, but I have gotten a ticket as a result of an accident. Well deserved, I admit. I just paid the fine.

But of course. Huge Internet Cawks are a dime a dozen.

You could have really had fun telling this dude what to do: "Now fist your ass!" "Put on your wife's panties!" "Smother your dick in peanut butter and let a rabid Pomeranian/Chihuahua mix lick it off!"

The possibilities are endless! :D

Perhaps I should send them to you instead. I do have one issue with your reply though, we dont have rabies here.

Without looking do you know the size of your hard drive?

You got me with that one. I have no idea and wouldn't even know exactly where to look to find out.

Are you right brained or left brained? (a percentage will do).

Pretty much right brained. Big surprise, eh? ;)

What is the most distant place you've visited (from your home)?

I've been out to the west coast of the US. From where I live in the eastern US, about two thousand miles.

In scale from 1-5, how afraid of dark are you?

I don't like the dark. I sleep with a light on sometimes. Probably about a 4.

What do you label yourself as?

Y'know, I've been sitting here for a few minutes thinking about how to answer this. Still no good answer. Maybe a non-traditional thinker trapped in a very traditional life?

What were you doing at midnight last night?

Checking Facebook and falling asleep at the computer.

Last furry thing you touched?

I just ran my hand over the cat's back as he walked across the bed.

Favourite age you've been so far?

Now. There's crappy things about getting older, but I am becoming extremely comfortable in my skin. And the friends I've made in the last six years... I wouldn't have missed it for the world.

What is your current desktop picture?

A painting by Edward Hopper. I copied it from typical deviant's post.

What was the last thing you said to someone?

I yelled at B, that his idea to keep the cat out of the closet didn't work. LOL

The last song you listened to?

We had an oldies station on the radio in the car, but I can't remember what song was on.

You can press a button that will make any one person explode. Who would you blow up?

Attention whores like the guy who released his hot air balloon and had cops and the military trying to figure out how to rescue the little boy that was supposedly in the balloon, but who really was safe at home.

You can flip a switch that will wipe any band or musical artist off the earth?

Celine Dion and Barbra Streisand

Who would you really like to just punch in the face?

Can't pick just one, but probably a few of the ultra conservative pundits that just will not shut the hell up.

What is your favourite cheese?

I like most cheeses except for the really stinky ones. The one I eat most often I guess is mozzarella.

Have you ever been arrested?

Nope.

I have to throw my own two cents.

If you were yogurt, what flavor would you be and would you be fruit on the bottom or mixed?

I think I would be a luscious, full fat smooth vanilla yogurt. Sweet and a little tangy.

And if you were a hot dog, would you try to eat yourself?

OMG, I'd cover myself in chili sauce, onions and cheese and go for it! Mmmmm...

Do you know the secret to life?

I think there are some things that take a whole lifetime to discover -- that's one of them. There's likely no one secret to life, other than cherish it for the gift that it is.

Do you drink?

If so, what is your "weapon of choice"?

Speaking of "weapon of choice", watch this and tell us what you think: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aZbckwYY9r4

What are your thoughts on lingerie? If you like it, what is your favorite piece to wear? If you don't, why not?

Tell us about the last time you thought to yourself "I'd really, REALLY, like to be anywhere else but right here, right now."

1. I very very rarely drink alcohol, and then only a sip or two. I don't tolerate it very well -- half a beer can put me under the table.

2. I watched the video, I googled the lyrics. My reaction is this: Christopher Walken dances pretty good for an old guy.

3. Underwear I have, lingerie not so much. Just not the type for it I guess, and the partner I might have worn it for laughed the last time I did.

4. I think that almost every day.

I often threaten to make a run for the border. . . if I do, want me to stop and pick you up on my way? (You can bring the kitty, I love kitties!)

Do you have a favorite quote? Why is it you favorite quote? Why does it resonate with you?

What influenced your fabulous and oh so sick sense of humor?

What cartoons did you like as a kid? or for that matter, now?

1. I have lots of quotes that I like, but no one favorite. But let me think about it and see if one comes to me.

2. I'm inspired constantly by the people and things around me. There's a lot of silliness in the world if you look for it. Making people laugh is a good way to get people to like you, didn't you know that? ;)

3. I like Disney cartoons, and the old Warner Brothers cartoons -- Bugs Bunny and his ilk. I'm not very impressed with the cartoons out nowadays, like Spongebob or the Simpsons. (Sorry Eilan... )

Wow, you bailed out of this too quick for my liking, I'm going to have keep nagging you.

How is the new kitty?

Good points?

Bad points?

Cute points?

What is you favourite song to play on the piano?

You've had a busy day, you need to unwind what do you do?

Have you seen Nemo yet?

Wow, you bailed out of this too quick for my liking, I'm going to have keep nagging you.

You nag? You? No way! :D

How is the new kitty?

He's settled in and is now ruling the house and rearranging things to his liking.

Good points?

He's very friendly and affectionate. It's a novel experience to have such a friendly cat around. He comes when I call him, and doesn't seem to mind when I slip up and call him by the old kitty's name.

Bad points?

He's very curious and relentless when he wants to get into something. I haven't figured out how to keep him out of the houseplants. He's also a jumper and has knocked a stack of various clutter off the sewing table more than once. His human probably ought to learn to put her stuff away.

Cute points?

He's a talker -- he's got this cute little two syllable meow that sounds like he's saying uh-oh. When I come into the room and he sees me, he comes over and lays down right in front of the wheelchair and stretches out and shows me his belly. It's very endearing to a point. We're still working on getting him to move when I ask.

What is you favourite song to play on the piano?(Firefox's spellchecker says you spelled favorite wrong. It obviously lacks a global perspective. ;) )

There is a song from Phantom of the Opera that I just love. And when I think of the name of it, I'll come back and let you know. I also have a book of beginning Bach minuets that I play a lot.

You've had a busy day, you need to unwind what do you do?

Find solitude as quickly as possible. Usually, I put on my jammies and climb into bed and go online. But, the solitude's the thing. I also pick up my neverending knitting project and just concentrate on counting stitches.

Have you seen Nemo yet?

Not yet.

That's funny, Opera's says yours is wrong.:D

I'm so glad he's adopted you.:rose:

Spotlight on . . . .. . BG's kitty

Wow, this could go hella dirty real quick. :D

What is kitty's name?

What does kitty look like?

Have you ever considered shaving him? (I hear guys like that sort of thing.)

Are you worried that he will run off with Ed's trout?

LMAO Only you, Minxie, only you would want to spotlight my *ahem* kitty.

I call my kitty "Kitty".

Kitty is covered in brown and black and white fur.

I have not considered shaving my kitty. Bald kitties look strange.

My kitty wants nothing to do with fish.

OMG. Bwahahahahaha....
