Strip Clubs and Pole Dancing

I second this idea. A lot of women who first start out have "what if someone I know sees me?" looming in the back of their mind. This creates unneeded stress and will affect your performance. By going somewhere a great distance away you eliminate this issue entirely. Also, yes, have your SO with you. He/she will be able to provide moral support as well as give you something to focus your attention on. Just put the strangers in the room out of your mind. :)

Wherever it is you may be going, you should look at stripclubnetwork.com. It is a site with a directory of strip clubs across the country and ways to contact them. They also have user reviews which can help weed out the bad ones. Find one somewhere close to where you're going and contact them about an amateur night or even a tryout.

And as Lustful suggested, I can offer some tips if you need them :)

That is already some AMAZING advice.... I would have had no idea how to find and contact places in advance.... and I was terrified that I would end up somewhere dangerous. I'm actually really excited to try this now.

I would have no idea what sort of advice to ask for as far as dancing is concerned. I've practiced with my boyfriend several times now, and he says I'm doing great.... but he would pretty much have to say that, wouldn't he?

incidentally... this story?

...Something came over me, I don't know if it was my curiosity to know what he would feel like inside me or if it was that I wanted to be his first, or maybe a bit of both...

it was the inspiration for a very exciting roleplay session last night :) so thank you :)

You're very welcome! For both the advice and the inspiration ;)

I'm finding mixed messages online when describing ways I should approach my first time dancing. one suggestion is that I get a stripper-ish outfit... those ones that skirt the line between lingere and dress... and just get naked early on.

the other advice I get is to have a few layers, as long as they're all sexy, and just work them all off, and basically don't get fully naked until the end of the song. what do you think?

Also...

I found a place that will be on our route... it looks very clean, and the reviews all make it sound pretty safe. they don't have an amateurs night, but I spoke to the manager on the phone and sent him some pictures, and he said he'd be willing to let me dance one night.

does any of that sound sketchy to you?

No more sketchy than your average strip club, I think. Strippers in general are hired as "independent contractors" and as long as you have an ID that says you're over 18, most places will hire dancers with little or no screening.

Most clubs have girls dance in two song "blocks". Layers are a good idea to keep the audience's attention. You want to look, for lack of a better word, slutty. Tight low cut tops, super short skirts, thigh high stockings or fishnets, etc. During the first song you want to slowly strip off the top layers piece by piece so that by the time the second song starts you are down to just bra and panties (and stockings if you decided to wear them). When the second song starts the first thing to do is take off your bra. How you choose to do this is up to you but usually I picked out a guy at random around the stage and took it off directly in front of him. Then just continue as you were doing and if you want to take your panties off (be sure the club allows it), do it half way through the second song. Let them catch a small glimpse of your pussy before you get off stage. This acts as an appetizer for private dances ;)

As for the club, doesn't sound that sketchy. Most places make most of their money from drinks and as long as you are helping them keep people in those seats they have no real reason to care. If you've already sent in pics then the manager must have seen potential in you ;)

I am used to three song blocks with full nudity. Same approach though. First song strip down to bra and panties. The bra comes off during the second song and the panties come off during the third song.

I think of the stage show as essentially the advertisement for lap dances. Some girls would prefer to just do lap dances and avoid the stage show. However, the club usually requires each girl to take a turn on stage to share that burden. Maybe burden is the wrong word but it is hard work and only lucrative to the extent it gets you lap dances. The club requires it as a focal point for customers and to set the mood of the place, but the money is in booze and lap dances.

As Rozalin suggested, retain each article of clothing until late enough in the song that you leave the audience wanting more. However, don't be too shy. If they barely get a glimpse before you exit stage left you'll come across as frightened or modest (a fine trait but not for a stripper).

Also prepare yourself mentally for the environment. It is in many ways quite welcoming. However, guys don't edit themselves to the same degree as they do in other settings when women are around. Don't take any shit from them but understand that in this situation "nice ass" is a compliment and there is nothing more to it than that.

luv em

Well here in Ontario like PW has said yes we are used to 3 song stage sets and fully nude and yes he has the progression of the dances spot on... The best stage dancers are those that catch thr audiences attention and hold it through their whole 3 song routine

Now that can be tricky because everyone has different likes

Personally i am a total voyouer and luv the stage show ... I have almost never gotten a VIP dance and seldom get lap dances except on special trips to certain clubs

But for the most part a sexy hawt girl putting on a high energy sexual stage show where she is showing off some skills connecting with the crowd and generally having fun up there... Will have me smiling arroused and reaching in my purse for cash to tip

One thing i have noticed and this is just my opinion strip clubs are like a living characture of life everything is just everything is just a bit more blown up and animated there .... The girls are hawter .. You feel more sexually charged ... Moods good and bad are amplified as are peoples manners

I say go have fun .. Dont criticize ..be open minded and dont sweat the small things

I used to go to a nearby "go-go bar" all the time. (Go-go bar = dancers wear bikinis and "flash" nipples. No touching.)

There were a few good pole dancers, but I was never much into it as an art form. I see the skill involved in doing it gracefully and sexily, but it's just not my thing. I was there to see sexy women move in sexually suggestive ways and hopefully see some titty.

Thinking of the hundreds of women I have seen work in strip clubs, only a handful were really sexy. Most had trouble hiding the boredom and lack of interest in their job and the customers and I do not blame them. A few were good at acting aroused and interested to get their tips. And a very few were just plain hot.

BTW, my ratings have little to do with how perfect (or fat-free or blemish-free) their bodies were. It was mostly about attitude.

These days, at age 54, I would rather save my money, jerk off to a porn clip and get on with my day. Strip clubs are for younger men who are not as jaded as I guess I am.

Haven't been to a strip club in such a long time!! Love to find a good place to go in the Cleveland area and who knows maybe a woman to go with!! Here is to hoping!

I've been to one strip club in my life - Bouzouki in downtown Detroit. I had a hundred dollars in my pocket and no clue what I was doing - like literally no idea.

The first clue I was way out of my element? I ordered food. The second? I was really, really, REALLY nervous - like, shaking, dry mouth, scared of irrational things like that my bank was going to take advantage of me for swiping my card there.

If I ever go back, I won't be nearly as scared, and I have one of the dancers there to thank. She was extremely friendly, approachable, not what i expected. Physically, she wasn't my type (she had a few things I liked...her hair was curly and still long enough to go down to her mid-back, she was tall, in shape, and had a pierced belly-button...but she was a bit skinny for my liking.) But she was just so damn nice.

Her name was Ariel. I did get a private dance from her (topless, full-touching except under the g-string...about as daring as I got was spanking her, and let's just say I could have bounced a quarter off her ass.) I felt a bit better afterwards but didn't totally shake the nervousness.

I wouldn't go to a strip club in my home state of Ohio after that experience simply because I wouldn't want to spend $20 a song not to be able to touch. I'll behave myself, respect the dancer, and be as nice as possible, but I would go to participate, not just to watch.

Good luck :(

Cleveland is known for being home of the "air dance". Which is sad because a lot of the women are very attractive.

Maybe I should start a petition to send to our state representative. "Ohio demands better strip clubs!" Sadly I don't think it would get very far

I live in the Atlanta area. I used to visit clubs occassionally, but now rarely. When I was attending most clubs have a 3 song schedule. First to get your top off, second your bottoms, and the final song if the tips have been enough totally nude.

Interesting that your area is only 2 songs.

Well Ohio law prohibits being fully nude in clubs that serve alcohol. Guess that eliminates the need for a third song.

As many contributors have indicated, how naked you get and how fast you get there depends a lot on local rules. However, remember the clients are there to see you get to the last stage. Give them a decent look and plan to spend at least 1/3 of the final song as naked as the rules allow. If you are counting the seconds until you can cover up again you are doing it wrong.

Well said. Men are their for pleasure. That is why we tip. Unless they are a regular customers, most women get the bulk of their tips after they are as "Nekkid" as allowed in the club.

Any man that enters a strip club expecting to "pick-up" one of the dancers is usually mistaken. Plan on getting hard there, but finishing the "job" after you get home.

The dancers are "Appetizers". Plan on "getting off" at home with mama or Mr. Five Fingers

It's been a long while since i have been in a strip joint.
I guess that's one of the disappointments of living in a small town.
Lots of good memories though :)

Here in South Florida there are both 2 song and 3 song rotations. From what I have observed, it is mostly a matter of how many women are on the floor at one time that determines the rotation schedule. Clubs with less than 10 dancers per shift tend to go with 3 songs, while clubs with 20-50 girls do the shorter 2 song sets.

The other thing to be aware of for in Ontario is that the stripper's primary activity is mingling and private (full touching) dances. That is where the money is (well that and booze). The stage show sets the tone and is where most customers focus their attention. But for the girls it is more of an obligation or opportunity to advertise for private dances. On a Friday night I would do maybe two or three stage shows at 10 minutes each. The rest of the time is working the floor and private dances. So for newbies or amateurs that aren't specifically attending an amateur night you want to be clear on what is expected of you. Each girl has her own approach to how much she will allow in private dances. However, it is up close and personal, you will get groped and club owners probably won't let you opt out

This doesn't happen nearly as often as men claim. Not saying it doesn't (i'm guilty on one count), but it isn't nearly as widespread as guys talk about. Most dancers don't want to attract any more negative attention to the business than they already get. Don't shit where you eat as they say...

I used to run the Largest Strip Club in the World, here in Vegas and this happens all the time and in every one of the Top 5 Clubs here. The Prostitution Racket is as big business as the clubs themselves and considered 'Organized Crime' and 'Racketeering' because of the multitude of individuals working for the same 'Management', so to speak. With clubs having 400-500 dancers a night on the weekends, it is a buffet of strippers to be had.
Dont kid yourself, if you look closely, you can see it happening every weekend.
