This will sound like bragging, but it's not. I am a tall, skinny guy who has worked out a lot over many years to build some muscle mass, but I don't think I'm a 'hunk'.

However, twice women have asked to see my chest. Many years ago, I was at a bar with a bunch of people from work and the company nurse was there. She was in her early 30s. I was about 40. And you should!

You dedicate time and energy that could be devoted to something else on taking care of your body. You most likely also watch what you eat, and make sacrifices in many other ways, and from that this is the reward you get.

My ex-wife was like that. She watched what she ate, worked out, and because of that, looked really nice. Other ladies would snarl at her, but it was only out of jealousy because they did not want to do what she was doing to get the results they were jealous of. And it was not easy for her... she had four pregnancies that she had to fight back from.

I am not at the point you are, but I started doing yoga after doing something a little different. I plotted out where I DID NOT want to be in 20 years, and plotted a course from that. Balance and flexibility is more important to be then strength, but there are compromises I have to do to get there like dedicating daily time to the task. Good habits yield results.
