Sugar

If your attention span is limited to a thread at a time, then no.

So then you follow people around harassing them regardless of what is currently going on in the discussion, but it's feminism's fault?

Again own your fucking behavior.

Just to be clear; I have no bones with any one over this, it feels like a non issue from my part.

Advice was offered, on what basis I am not sure, and declined. I am not offended and hope I have not caused offence.

I figured as much Elle. It's just a pattern of behavior.

Small penis syndrome? Dunno. Don't care.

No worries my lady. None here either.

Species like Adrina & friend feed on twisting facts and soliciting support in degenerate ways.

I think she believes her own BS. (she = op)

which makes this sadder. Maybe I should indulge in how sweet the schadenfreude in this situation is.

Never was the type tho. sadly.

Dude get off it.

I know you've got this whole hurt ego thing from when I first handed you your as way back when. You're still smarmy, you're still high maintenance. If you don't like me, quite engaging me.

Easy as.

I have a tendency to overdo the brown sugar in my morning oatmeal. But I think I'm at about 10%. Never much of one for sweets. Fats yes, sugar no. Chocolate is my weak spot. Even as a kid preferred as dark as possible. Chips and cheesies were another weak point in diet. Pop was always rationed in our house growing up. Always a bushel of apples in the basement.

We all eat way too much sugar, fat and salt. None of these were abundant in the paleo diet our hunter/gatherer ancestors dined on. We have spent far longer roaming the savannahs in search of food than standing inline at Timmy's, McDs or the grocery store.

That's the McDonald's business plan. From an evolutionary perspective, our bodies were programmed to crave sugar, fat and salt.

I'm not a sugar person and generally eat stuff grown and/or raised close to home with little pre-packaged foods. But I admit to binging on a bag of chips.

My worst sin is probably ice cream. To be fair it's not like I have a ton of it but an easy scoop and a half. Then followed by potato chips. I've actually cut way back on those in the last few years as well. But a few handfuls a week isn't so bad right? :D. Oh and my rye toast is low sugar at 1 gram per piece.

I put dark chocolate in the same category as red wine. A little is good, more than that is not.

I switched to chocolate frozen yogurt to cut down fat content. Not quite as rich and creamy as the best ice cream brands. But quite acceptable.

We are prone to addiction. Resisting temptation and moderation are a bitch to balance.

The long way is to build willpower, eat healthy and meditate.

The short way is to take LDN, reduce addiction, but build the long way quick before falling back off the wagon.

Sugar is relatively a poison.

Potato chips are bonafide evil. Even health nuts have trouble with them. They are pervasive.

A lot of our food industry has been built around the chemistry of addiction. It's pretty vicious.

Most of this is pop science based on "peer-reviewd" papers that started with a premise and then moved towards proving it, be it eggs, fat, salt, butter or sugar...

You gave to shop around. Yogurt has a tartness that is sometimes covered up with added sugar.

Yup.

I had switched to Sorbets, but discovered they are actually high in sugar, so the Costco choc-vanilla swirl of frozen yogurt it is.

The sugar cone tho is my weakness, not giving that up.

You're not doing yourself a favor switching from white to brown sugar. Same issues.

If you insist on not substituting with fruits, berries, then you're much better off with maple syrup.
