GTFU Blooze...

It is Saturday....and if I have to get up early and go to work ....I ain't gonna let any one else sleep late either:D

Well maybe Mav and Beam...Ok so I am a romantic at heart

I got coffee on... double strength...no bear claws...but cinamon rolls and blueberry muffins.

You got cars to design...songs to practice...and an early morning round of golf in your galoshes....now that's a word I haven't used in a long time. :)

Ah hell honey I'm not sleeping in either it's a work  day for me too.
How about proping me up in the corner with some coffee till I can get my eyes to function...one of these nights I'll sleep all the way threw

Heh, you can always take it back... I supect you are gonna be in and out of there.. a few more times in the future....

Odd where one finds bluegrass people... In my last training course.... a two weeker...this instructor comes in all nice and proper...seems like a fun guy... but someone you would expect to be reading "Forbes" in his spare time.

Anyway... I'm downloading one of your emails songs on my laptop during break...and he notices...we start talking about bluegrass songs..

Turns out he is a pretty fine bluegrass guitarist...and is learning the dobro..let me listen to a couple of songs he and his friends had taped....

It seems that a lot of old rockers... have become closet bluegrass fans
Yeah, we got no choice - old farts look like hell in Spandex...

I think the whole Bluegrass, Americana thing is growing. That guitar shop was buzzing yesterday - it was 3:30 and those guys were still trying to finish off their lunch. While I was there, they sold three guitars - they are going out the door 2 to 1 acoustic to electric - at least they were yesterday. Plus there were 3 acoustics brought in for work.

And no, I wasn't one of the Acoustic purchasers...

LMAO...oh yeah...a million thoughts run threw my head at that same time...I swear it was the birds that woke me up at 3:45...must of been having some kind of freakin family reunion or something..

I spent some time with MJ last night..this leaving stuff gets emotional...she said "I am so happy for you..but I don't know how i'm going to get along without you"..the lump in my throat got so big I couldn't hardly breath...

Well it is an absolutely beautiful morning here Chief..perfect day to play golf...it's 50 outside now and it's going up to the low 70's with low humidity....R would love a partner he enjoys golf but doesn't get to play often
Off to hit the shower hoping that wakes me up...
Thanks for the sweet rolls El....Kisses and hugs and stay safe on the roads today

Well it is raining here still... the main highway out of town is flooded now, and the East end of town is flooded again too. Drought or no drought, we've had enough rain for this month....

You have a good day Little Bit... :)

I was unloading groceries from the car this evening when I noticed a couple young girls playing with in a sidewalk puddle. Yeah, a sidewalk puddle - you know, on an old sidewalk that has heaved a bit with the frost over the years, and a big rain will wash mud into a low section and puddle up when the rain stops and the wash slows. Pretty soon you have a little puddle with silt on the bottom of it all the time after it rains.

The kind of thing little, oh... I don't know, they looked five or six, girls discover immediately as soon as the rain quits and Mom finally lets them go outside to play. The smallest girl seemed to be the ring leader. I heard her say, "...yeah, like this."

I looked up and watched her take two running steps and launch herself into a slide across the slick mud at the bottom the puddle, creating a wake at the the heel of each small bare foot. She stepped out of puddle in time to keep from stubbing her foot on the dry concrete at the puddle's edge.

"Now you!" as she ran back to the other side of the puddle using a path thru the grass. This was obviously a one way puddle.

The other girl took a single step and sort of slid one foot into the puddle and pulled her foot back - the water was obviously cold.

"No, no." said the honcho. "You're sposed to take 2 steps like this." She launched herself through the puddle again, and ran back to the other side. Rules... there were obviously rules for launching oneself into and across the one way sidewalk puddle.

This time she coached the other little girl.

"Back up to here, and then ya run and jump and slide through..."

The other little girl tried it - two running steps and a little reticent hop into the puddle she didn't slide too far, and really wasn't expecting to slide at all, so she lost her balance backwards. Waving her arms trying to save herself, she finally set back on her hands and arched her back to keep her butt out of the water. Then started trying to crab walk out of the puddle without getting any wetter.

The little honcho girl put her hands on her hips and said in an exhasperated sounding voice, "...and no sitting down."

I started bust out laughing at her indignation at the Puddle Rules being infracted, but I didn't want to startle them. I did start chuckling, chuckled as I grabbed another handful of plastic straps, chuckled as I shut the trunk lid and carried the rest of the groceries into the house.

That used to be Chuck and Nick, CJ trying to orchestrate some game - Nik always messing it up, usually by deciding to march to her own drummer, thank you.

It was a cool evening compared to what we've had the last few weeks, the neighborhood filled with the sounds of dogs barking, kids squealing and laughing... and rules being laid out. Everybody knows there's only one way to slide through a sidewalk puddle. And there's no sitting down.

And you sir, can lay down a neat compliment, when you set your mind to it... ;) I like that, a "Norman Rockwell" with words.

I opened a new can of coffee this morning, it should be done in a few.

Got time for a cup?

Happy Sunday Morning Blooze.

You sure can tell a story that can be seen while you read it. Sounded like they were having fun.:D

The coffee sure tastes good this morning.

Morning El. Off to the ballgame later this morning. Got a seat right behind home plate about 12 rows up. And I get a free Kansas City Monarchs cap with a tribute on it to Buck O'Neill. Hope it doesn't get rained out cause the boys in blue are on a roll. First 5 game winning streak in quite a while before last night. And it included a sweep of the best team in baseball.

Things are looking up in KC! :nana:

Thank you Maverick - you guys are sure making me feel good about my writing. :)

Doesn't it? I like the first pot out of a fresh can. A little of the French vanilla coffee stuff, its got a homey cumfey taste and feel, kind of like hot chocolate. It is kind of like, "Damn, if the day is starting like this, the rest of it has a half assed chance."

I think we are setting all time records for rain in June - how you guys doing up there? Bird creek is out of it's banks all up and down the little valley that is its watershed. If you have to go to Tulsa, you have to drive West and come in through Sand Springs - turns a 20 mile trip into 80.

The game sounds neat - hope you can dodge some of the rain. Having a Pro team that is doing good sure has a neat affect on a town, or depending, the State. I know Colorado always seemed like a better place when the Broncos are doing well.

This plotting and planning shit is overwhelming....

My ex showed up this morning to drop R off and started spouting shit that he knows nothing about..started my day off in a sour sour mood

My shoes laying by the door were starting to look real good...I wondered how good my aim was..haven't thrown anything in years

CRANKY I tell you....oh I am a crank ass today...LMAO...

Going to hit the shower now and let it pound on me for awhile..hoping it gets rid of these nasty thoughts and my ugly mood

Fuck it... have a Bailey's with lunch...think about the future..and how it is getting nearer each day...think about how much you have accomplished in the past few months...

Things are getting done...plans have been set in motion....each day is bring you closer. What used to be 6 months away is now only a couple....
