If I had a buck for every 18 wheeler we saw I could take a trip to Greece...and corn fields dam it was good to cross the border into my new home state and see rolling hills!!!!

Home feels like HOME... In a few hours we are going to go pick up MY COWBOY....he is so sweet there was a big WELCOME HOME banner waiting for me and a BIG heart balloon that plays music...he remembered that it's never really a party without a balloon

I have missed you all so much...missed our early morning and late evening chats...big sigh...oh yeah...home...home feels good...

Going to go take a short nap so I don't look so road weary for my man...

You'll never believe what just happened. Was watching the news tonight, and they posted a bulletin for our area, said to seek cover as they were expecting micro-burst winds. Which is about the time I heard the wind pick up. Ran outside to fold the umbrella on the picnic table, then ran over to take down the day tent I had put up when a microburst wind ripped through the back yard. Was standing just under the cover of the hot tub when I heard the crack, (thought it was a lightening strike) ducked, and felt the tree come down nearly on top of me. Tossed me like I was nothing against the fence.

I no longer have a hot tub.

Glad you're alright. The Hot Tub doesn't look like it got that badly damaged. I bet you can fix it.

Reminds me of the day our tree fell on my Mom's car. It just got to be too heavy and gave up on itself. I was nine years old and taking a bath when I hear her call to my older brother "Come quick the tree is falling!!".

Sorry to hear about the tub, but glad you're OK. Thats the important part.

Oh My My I checked my bank account and YUP the old house closed yesterday!!!!!!

Hummmmmm money in the bank....whew..been a long time since there has been any money in the bank that wasn't reserved for bills...LOL..of course some of the new money will go towards old bills BUT....a couple of pots of flowers for the front porch is my first thought this morning

Just a little late this morning...

I didn't stay up too late last night. Actually got a good amount of sleep. I had some orange juice that was going to spoil if I didn't drink it, and some vodka, so I made some pretty hefty screwdrivers and found myself ready for bed around 10 or so...

That thing I told you about, the link to my Bench Racing thread, my theory about how the weight bias is handled in the game? Well anyhow, it is starting to look as if I may have stumbled onto it. We've been doing some tests.

In some ways, I wish I had sat on that and not shared it with everybody. It would be cool to be the only one that knew it.

But that isn't me I think. I want everybody to know what I know. I don't like knowing stuff by myself. It is like not knowing it at all...

So far can't even get into it to see. It may be ok, unless it moved and cracked inside, hard to tell at the moment. Already looking at new gazebo's, can't believe how much they've gone up in price since buying mine ten years ago! Holy cow...thank god I'm not paying for it!

Yeah, there was quite a bit of wide spread damage from that storm too. There are huge trees down all over the place. Am sure that's gonna keep the tree guys busy for a while. No telling yet when we'll see anyone get to us.
