So far can't even get into it to see. It may be ok, unless it moved and cracked inside, hard to tell at the moment. Already looking at new gazebo's, can't believe how much they've gone up in price since buying mine ten years ago! Holy cow...thank god I'm not paying for it!

Yeah, there was quite a bit of wide spread damage from that storm too. There are huge trees down all over the place. Am sure that's gonna keep the tree guys busy for a while. No telling yet when we'll see anyone get to us.

Since you are around and posting, I'm guessing you haven't suffered any power shortages

Ours is a fairly new subdivision, so most of the power lines are all underground, but the substation was out for a couple of hours, so we were without power that long until they could fix it.

As far as the meal? Was actually considering another delacy in fact...something to do along the feline aspects. Or rather...Pussy care to join me?

Fresh pot of coffee is on...

Early morning again....My body is a little screwed up..a different time zone now

Busy day yesterday checking out the town with my cousin....first stop was the Harley Davidson factory in town to get a shirt for D's husband...second stop was at my new store to meet my new boss.Ha...talk about a warm welcome..I intoduced myself stuck out my hand...she walked up to me and gave me a HUGE HUG... I can already tell that I'm going to like working there

Been a bit busy the last couple of weeks with getting ready for Beam's arrival, worrying about the trip to my mom's, oh, and there was that little thing about the heart.................


Lots of stuff to get used to with that. Rehab at 6:30 in the morning three days a week and trying to keep track of the bills that are starting to come in. Need to pay the first three or four this weekend when I have time. And the damn pills.......

So, that is why I haven't been on too much in a bit. But I have been popping in at work to keep up as best I can.

Good! I been drinkin' left-overs and rum - got all a tangle working on a car and a spreadsheet and sort of lost track of time and all that stuff...

This deal that I sort of discovered, or more uncovered has really turned out to be something. I almost expect Turn 10 (the MS unit responsible for the game) to send me an email and ask me to shut up about it... )

At any rate, this has been a ball. This is what I loved about computer programming in the first place. Digging through a program, figuring out how they did it, and how I could take advantage of it.

And it is sort of sad too. Whenever I hit one of these I used to corner Anne and make her listen to me bubble about it and she would tolerate it. There was a day that I over heard her talking to some of her nurse buddies, and she was bragging on me, my ability to do that, she was so damned proud of me. So even though she couldn't hack hearing about the bits and ones and zeros, she liked knowing about the things I'd accomplished. I miss not being able to tell her about this one.

It's been a year... almost. This thread is almost a year old. I do believe this is one of the longest years of my life.

This whole business can't end soon enough by me...

But enough of that.

Friday... you guys all be careful out there, and get home safe tonight so that you can have a dandy weekend.

Hell of note to be this confused this early in the morning...

I try to imagine the two of you right now, what is going through each of your minds as the day proceeds. I imagine that almost every minute is an adventure... something new, something learned - Mav off to therapy and then work - Beam getting a chance to be the house-wife stuff, straighten up a little bit and maybe plan a meal for her man, show him how good she can cook, and what should she be wearing when he gets home... Friday Night.

You know about Friday Nights now... that has to have worked into your heads a little. And here it is, a Friday - and your lady is at home waiting for you, and your man is trying to keep from getting a ticket in his rush to get home to you...

Hey, I'm glad that you share this stuff with us. I wish I could do the programming stuff. There are so many programs that need tweeking to actually work right.

I think it is cool that you can pick apart their program and make use of all the bits and parts scattered over the floor of the garage.

LOL Well I tried some at a local street faire we have here and it was really good.....although I agree with MF. A nice would be much better.....Much sweeter too.

Seems everywhere has problems. We have two fires going on out here. I'm really worried too. It isn't near any homes yet, but its in the same city as the Renaissance Faire and its supposed to start this weekend. If I don't get to go I may just lose it.

Thanks for updating us Beam. I had no idea either. I can only remember one or two locations of where all my friends live.

Tennessee here .... Thinkin' ya'll might know that but it sure will keep me a bit happier knowing where everyone else is from. I hate being outta tha loop. or just being so stuck in my own life, that I don't pay enough attention to these things. My apologies everyone and I do ... hope everyone is safe.
