Well, I dodged the court bullet again. This sure will be much ado about nothing if the whole 6 weeks goes by like this. My internal reaction to the phone was funny. When I heard the ole Judge Kahne say we wouldn't be needed this week and to call in next week, it was like somebody announced that school was closed for the next week. Do a little happy dance, I got a week off...
So anyhow - I'm going golficating this morning...
Any number of side bets are available. Pick the one that looks like a sure winner and get your money out...
- how many holes will I make - 9, 3, 7? One?
- Its a par 36 - I'd like to break 50...
- I will be injured
- How many balls will I lose (hint - there's a par 3 surrounded by water.)
(This list tool is wierd - won't use it again...)
I hope you all have a good day.
Here's musical party to hopefully give it a start...

Good on ya... I am in need of trying to reclaim this wreck myself. I hoping the golf will suffice. I have always been opposed to running unless there was something large, mean, and hungry behind me...
Have a good one Mav...

The weather is much more civil here as well. Anything before lunch is actually quite nice.MaverickMan said:Hey, I'm glad that you have the court vacation so you can get out and play a bit. It is a little cooler here. I hope it is down there as well.

When the men dance, the second in line stands still to support the first one doing the figures.

Hey, I notice 3 instruments behind the kid that were being played like a guitar. One even had a pickup in the sound hole like a guitar. What are they?
~~Pssst - I am trying to find a place in Tulsa that teaches American Folk dancing, i.e., Buck Dancing - don't tell anybody...~~

How about some Santiri music?ran57gr said:mum's the word...
Guess it's Bouzouki, a versatile instrument http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bouzouki
Here is a performance by a contemporary player http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O3HwVmWU5oU
and here is Manolis Chiotis, playing in a Greek film dating from the 60ies http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CCRYUJPiMyM&mode=related&search=
The tiny instrument that the second guy plays towards the end is a Baglamas![]()

oops....sorry. Thats who it was spelled on the website. I'll have to tell him to get it changed.ran57gr said:Santouri![]()
This is the best I could find http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7-WpN-H4x0I&mode=related&search=
It downloaded very slowly for me. But you can hit on Pause and leave it to download while you do something else, then you can hear it without annoying interruptions.
