lol -

I was worried there for a second... as I read that I though that I thought uh-oh, there's a part of her that is gonna wanna slap me silly... :D

I'll be okay. According to this book on grieving, my current condition is normal.

lol - I think that bugs me as much as anything else. I never did cotton too much with being normal.

A road trip don't sound like a bad idea. I bet I could figure out a circle that would run me past KC and another Missouri town if put me mind and google to it... ;)

Yeah I had to quit for today...my hands were going numb!

But did "Kat" for Ran...thought she'd like that one. I'll try and get some better photos of them for Halloween when I light them all up outside. :D

I'm okay. Really. Just one of those days. Were I of the feminine persuasion you'd suggest that I take a Midol and put my feet up.

:D $

Not me. Were you a woman, I'd suggest that you go out and buy yourself a couple of pairs of CFM pumps. Feels like the next best thing to an orgasm, trust me on that

You goofy wonderful man....I read your words an a part of me wants to cuddle you to my chest like a small child..run my fingers threw your hair an say "shhh shh it will be OK." You just can't kill off the mother part of me..

Another part of me wants to grab your hand an say "Come on there is a whole world left to explore...start the car..lets go on an adventure."

Wish I could do both

Your too far away to do to do either...

UNLESS you want to take a road trip :D

Holding you in my thoughts my friend...

I don't know about you Macx, but I think if Beam "cuddled" me to her chest and ran her fingers through my hair...the warm comforting feeling wouldn't last long...er...well the warm would...but I think the comforting part might feel a little more like a teasing part in just a minute or two. My mind might wander to thinking that there was just a few pieces of material between me and those succulent breasts. Might get a guy's mind fantasizing about a bit more than being mothered. That close, her scent would be beguiling..the sweet soft skin of her neck so close..her warmth so apparent. (Sorry Mav,
I know she is your baby, but she is just too sexy for us to ignore  )

Uh...Beam....I'm feeling sort of blue this morning myself :D

Macx the weather is beautiful... and won't be for long...get the fuck out and play some golf or something!

Mav, hurry with that rehab...and give the Beamer a "special" welcome home from work.

And the rest of you pervs out there..... y'all have a great day :)

Hey Friends... popping in to check on our favorite non-normal man and the family.

Blooze... i sent you a song... so check the e-mail.

Hope all is well with all...

Mercy, busy this mornin... hey guys!

Let's see...

- I was trying to be good... besides, one good way to ruin a good cuddle is to bite a nipple...

- Golf is a possibility today. I outed myself a bit yesterday - got stuck in a traffic jam caused by yet another Halloween/Trick or Treating substitute event...

- I got the song and thank you. I like that sound, the C&W big band sound, Bob Wills and the Texas Playboys, and now Asleep at the Wheel. You can still run into some of the old Bob Wills guys around here in the guitar stores now and then. Jazz chords to a country song is not that easy to wrap your fingers around, I'll tell ya. And did you ever try to yodel. If not, you may want to be off by yourself the first couple times ya do... I realized right off that I would have to come up with guitar licks to replace the yodeling in Jimmy Rogers songs.

WOW!! Just now, on a whim I went and run "Jimmy Rogers" through YouTube's search engine and looky what I found!!

Here's a pretty good piece of Americana Music History!!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qEIBmGZxAhg

That ought to wake you up, or piss off the neighbor's dogs, one...

:D $

PS: This is so cool. I didn't know he was around when there was TVs. I wish I had his guitar (Martin 00-45). This is one of my favorite all time songs right here, and it turns out that the way that the melody has been passed along through covers is not quite right... I'm gonna wear this one out! :D

Morning Blooze!

I was watching Antiques Roadshow last night and they had an interesting electric guitar on display.

1952 Fender Esquire.

http://www.scottymoore.net/52esquire.html

The lady's Grandfather had bought it in 1952 to use in his Cowboy music band. When he died it was passed to her husband. It was in beautiful condition although it had obviously been played, a lot.

The appraiser estimated the auction value at $35,000.00.

Bruce Springsteen used one.

Thought you might find it interesting.

Have a wonderful Thursday. :D

I do my best to take care of her.

LOL - so how far did the appraiser hop when he found out the lady's Grandfather was Scotty Moore? That has a lot more to do with the eventual price of that guitar than it being a 52 Esquire, which is the prequel to the Telecaster.

It sure would be nice if I could prove Bob Dylan slept with one of my guitars...

Isn't interesting how this theme popped up this morning from across the world...

If Rania shows up with a Ray Benson recording, or a really old Elvis clip, the morning will be complete.

Sorry if I was a little misleading. The Scotty Moore web site was convenient because it had a picture of an actual 1952 Esquire. The lady's grandfather was not Scotty Moore. Just a guy who played in a traveling Cowboy Band.

The appraiser said that a big part of the value would be that it was an out-from under-the-bed find that had been used and cared for. And it was in excellent condition with the exception of some wear from use. :D

o

I was all a flabber-ghast there... I was thinking, Esquire? ESQUIRE Hell! That's SCOTTY MOORE'S Esquire...

Still, $35,000 is a pretty good price for an old guitar. I wonder how many people were watching that show and looked at each other, then took off like a house a-fire to dig Grampa's old axe out of the hall closet.

:D $

Not to mention all the one's who see dollar signs, Maybe his old piece of crap guitar was an early Telecaster or Les Paul.............. That would be worth even more, hummmmmmmmmmmmmmmm?

$$$$$$$$$$$$

Hey Spaz... how's it goin'?

How does the job hunt go?

:) $
Hunt.. there is no hunt :( More like sitting, staring at the sky.
I've been keeping busy doing small engine repair in town. Lots of
lawn mowers, snow blowers, go carts, motorcycles around that need
a little TLC . It's keeps me in spending $$ and sane.

Thanks for asking :)
