Wooohoooo .... now if only my puter did the uTube thingy. It's slower than Christmas and believe me I don't wanna repeat that anytime soon, lol

Seriously if you get it up let us know, I promise to downlaod it even if it takes an hour .... you gonna give us a sing along???? The whole gang?? That'b be lotza fun ... hehehehehe

:nana:

I told a fellow that I know only as Safety Dave that I would start a thread that would let those who are concerned about Sybilrose know how she is doing. This is proving to be a more difficult task than I imagined. My mind wanders as I try to compose the words, to better times, and to times not so good. I remember how we handled the good and the bad. Snapshots and snatches of conversation clutter my mind and before I know it, the evening has passed and I still have not honored my word to Dave. However, Sybs recommends him so I will do my best.

There are so many things I would like to say. I want to tell you about her, to attempt to help you know her as I have known her, to share the beauty of her, mind, body and soul. But it is late and I am tired. Today has been hard. Perhaps on another night.

We brought Sybilrose home today from her last doctor's visit. Further treatment has been canceled, new perscriptions for stronger pain medicine have been written and filled, and the hospice people will call tomorrow. All that is left is to make her as comfortable as we can - she never could tolerate a pea in the bedding.

I want to thank you all for having been a part of her life. She enjoyed each of you and the time you shared.

Heavens! I was going to post this last night. But I got way-laid by my chair. Surprising how tiring the driving can be. I fell asleep in the middle of trying to call the Nick Unit and tell her I was home and ask concerning her cat, (poor old thing seems to have come up incontinent this week :( ). I woke up with the number half dialed and the football game over, not knowing the final score and about half rum-dum...

I managed a bit of soup and then it was off to bed for the boy.

We had a great time visiting - Mav showed off his expertise with a pot roast and the Beamer showed us how to get the dishes real clean... ;)

I was thinking this morning, it turns out that Missouri has more people in it that I call family than does Colorado. Funny how that goes...

I got work to do this week... the IRS is intensely interested in hearing from me concerning the last 7 years. I suppose I will comply.

The coffee is on, but there is only one bear claw and I ain't sharin'

:) $

You suppose you will comply? Dang, Blooze you must have a better lawyer than me.

Hey... good morning to you anyway! Pour yourself a cup of coffee.. with lots of rum...and get at it. You weren't a programmer for all those years without having a creative mind. :D (er... you might want to give Willie a call... I think he has had some experience in things like this)

I have talked to the folks already and they have already accepted that there is no blood to suck - I just need to document it.

You're looking pretty spiffy in your AV there punkin... ;)

LMAO - the most creative thing I did was wait until I wasn't a programmer any more to call them... :D

I have found that I get maudlin and sappy with too much rum in the morning and I have started limiting my intake.

I wish all my creative had done a bit better job of filing...

I hope you all are or will, have a dandy day!

:) :rose:

hmmm - their new editor counts the thing-a-ma-jigs... I had to delete some of them.

Thank you, I had to get rid of the Christmassy one fast so I switched to a previous one that I like a lot myself :D

:rose:

That's right. So far I've done the Avatar, then took a long nap in the afternoon.
I hope I'll be done with the rest by Easter :D

Hey now - if you leave your lights up on the house until next year two things will come of it.

First, and most obvious, you won't have to put them up when Christmas rolls around next year. And second, you will have completed one of the requirements for becoming an honorary Redneck...

Hmm.... a friend of mine (OK, so she ran a real tight schedule, working long hours plus two young sons) she kept putting off taking the tree down, week after week... in the end she threw an old bedsheet over it and just left it there for the following Christmas  :D

Uh oh!! Watch out now... genius at work!

Why take it down, why hide it?! With just a change in ornaments throughout the year it could be your...

- Valentine Tree
- Easter Tree
- Memorial Day and Independence Day Tree (feel free to insert your own holidays here...
- The Halloween Tree
- The Thanksgiving Tree
- and once again, the Christmas Tree.

I bet if this was presented to Hallmark properly, they'd pay pretty good for the idea. Selling Tree decorations all year long. Witches and Moons and Turkeys and Punkins and Hearts and all sorts of stuff.

This would work. I just know it would... we could be rich.

Yes'm, rich I tell ya...

There ya go!! I can see it now... tree ornament shoppes popping up at the malls around the world. "Ornaments R Us"

And it would be another out for those who are bent all artsy-fartsy.

Uh, just out of curiosity's sake - what has goat guts got to do with Easter?

 $

Have you been living under a rock?
We EAT roast kid goat or lamb in Easter. The offal and intestines we use to make Mageiritsa, that's the traditional Easter soup :)
But sometimes we don't bother with intestines, too much work cleaning them and they don't add much to the soup.
In fact george has had some mageiritsa last Easter when he was visiting, ask him :D

I remember all that from last year. I guess I was a bit confused just now. thinking along the lines of the Easter Bunny and such...

"What did the Easter Goat bring you?"

"Oh, we forgot to leave some tin cans and trash out for him and he skipped our house. What did you get?"

"A big ole Easter Cheese..."

:D

I think my brain is having trubble here... a few disconnects and a core dump...

:)

Uh huh! Lots of cheese consumed during Easter. Cheese pies and little cheese dumplings made with unsalted fresh cheese, topped with cinnamon and honey..... oooo, I'm salivating now :p :p
