Ohhh I'm excited!! We ordered a camcorder last night. It should arrive on Monday,giving Mav one day to figure out the bells and whistles before he takes it on his trip to celebrate his Mom's Birthday.

Hey there little bit!!

I am on my second and last rum and coffee for the day. I have found that any more than that and I get maudlin and overly sappy and tend to take horrendously long naps.

Anyhow, yes - I did get in front of those two guys, but another guy that is not a part of our party came trundling through and set me back a little. I am currently 69th out of 1.134 million - a position I don't figure to be able to maintain as more and more of the flat-bellies cowboy up and produce the work that is required to get there.

Are you working today? I hope not. It looks to be a nice one. Dipshit cat has insisted that I raise the blinds so she can oversee my operation from the window sill and see out at the same time. Bossy ole heffer...

Yeah I'm working today and tomorrow then I have 2 days off..work two days and then have 3 off....no rhyme or reason in the world of retail.We were jammed all day yesterday because the weather was beautiful.

Flatbellies! The bain of my existence on Forza. They are pure video game and have not a single thought for cars other than to think that the latest concept car from Ferrari is "awesome!".

Since I have my own site I don't have to deal with them as much. They stop by, but when they see sentences and paragraphs and other than LOL, not a single AOL-ism, they bail - too complicated. Those who are blantant enough to ask a question usually ask something like, "How to I keep my 1200 Hp Civic on the road?" When I (we) tell him to dump 800 Hp and buy some tires, they leave.

As for NASCAR, the real un-sung heros in my book are the dudes back at the shop, flow testing the heads, measuring the travel of the suspension, and all of the other engineering whozits and whatzits that produce another .-0.100 seconds, or even another 0.010 seconds. That is where the real grind is. The Sunday afternoon guys do their job, and they show their metal, no doubt. But the guys back at the shop, dealing with the minutia of automotive engineering - they are the ones that put the Jeff Gordans and the like in the cars they can become famous in...

Now how is that for a Soap Box for the rights of the Slide-Rule set...

You would think that people would be sick of shopping by now but NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.....we were up 82% over plan today...geeus crazy ass friggin shoppers

We had a wonderful steak dinner tonight smothered in mushrooms..dam I LOVE mushrooms...Mav cooked the steak which melted in your mouth...I did the mushrooms. I am not to be trusted cooking steak...a woman needs to know her limits

Going to be staying home..my pj's are on already...going to watch the movie "Amazing Grace"..we saw the preview and it looked pretty good.

I have next week-end off Chief and the weather looks like it's going to be real nice...feel like taking a road trip?? We would love to have you visit

I found out they shoot they shotguns here at midnightI thought they were kidding...nobody shoots shotguns at midnight in NY...well unless you live in the ghetto...but it doesn't have to be midnight for that to happen

Well at midnight the guns and the fireworks went off...the OC kid called...he always calls at midnight...much nicer now that we are in the same time zone

Hummm...plans for today...to do lots of NOTHING...Think we will give the new video camera a whirl and try and take a little movie for Mav's Mom as a birthday present.

Oh, RJ is back in the hospital. His immune system is out of whack seriously and he's developed an infection. They did a spinal tap on him day before yesterday and are able to rule out menengitis. Among other things, he has a pretty good UTI.

Man, this has turned into a grind for the kids. I hope it lets up pretty soon. They are both pretty well raw with this now.
