LOL - a fresh one just got finished. You're in luck!

I know I'm strange, sitting here eating peanut butter and drinking orange juice.......the heater was driving me crazy.....dropped a few degrees and added a cover.............

I went in a looked at the kitchen, and wanted to get out as quickly as I could!!!!!!!!!
Oh  Not good! Not good at all! To look about the house and see, uh... shall we say clutter? perhaps a bit of dust? some cobwebs maybe? That is one thing, and relatively common where I live. But to see chores?! As if you actually plan to do something about it...

...not good. Not good at all.

son is sleeping on coach, so I'll be good and wait.....might even get a few more hours in myself.......

Well, here I sit... all teary eyed and relieved because of a gob of fever blisters that just popped up on my upper lip.

Relieved? "How can that be?" you might ask.

When you've had some of the health issues that I've come up with across the years... you know, plugged arteries and semi-heart attacks and the like then you are always relieved to find that the reason you have felt so shitty for the last week or so is due perhaps to a common cold rather than the failure of yet another important internal system.

And, as I understand it, the fever blisters don't show up usually until the fever has been more or less whipped - they are a rather gross sign that you are improving. And in this case, proof that my body is still able to overcome these types of infections without a myriad conglomeration of vitamins, penicillin and the like.

Yes, fever blisters - a cause to celebrate? Happiness to the point that it brings tears to my eyes. Not quite. My mustache was in need of a trim, especially since I now needed to apply some Blistex to the cold-sore outbreak. So I went and trimmed the damned thing, and as I am wont to do when standing in front of a mirror with implements like tweezers handy, I sort of plucked a few of the wild ones. And one of the wild mustache hairs, a particularly long and white one that managed to avoid the scissor trim fell victim to the tweezers. However, it turns out that the hair was not an errant mustache hair as I thought, but rather a particularly fertile nose hair. Man, when I plucked that puppy it buckled my knees...

Damn!!

Hence the tears in my eyes...

Some mornings I wish I still kept rum in the house.

Now there is a visual for you...

The Blooze man, repleat with Parrothead Hat, strumming his guitar and strolling through town - a herd of mewling cats and kittens trailing him. Other cats popping out of the bushes and out of trash cans as the sound reaches them, and they hustle off to join the parade...

Cats come running as I pass
They all want to see
They say "Hey there Gypsy Song Man,
Won't you play a song for me?"
Their eyes glued on my strings
Dancing while I sing,
Gypsy Song Man... passing by.

...

(apologies to Jerry Jeff Walker)

ROFLMAO!!!!!

Now THAT is a visual that I'm sure we all would pay to see!!!

Thanks for starting the morning off with a laugh Blooze

Hey, sorry I missed y'all yesterday... my goofy clock and the real world didn't seem to get on the same page at any time yesterday...

Well good news! RJ stopped by for a visit yesterday. He actually made the rounds, visiting all of his friends and doing a bit of the family grocery shopping. He still has to wear a surgical mask but he says he sort of likes it, specially in WalMart's... folks see him coming with that mask on, the get the hell out of his way. The actual situation, He doesn't want their diseases misses their logic. They see the mask and automagically think DISEASE  and give him a wide birth.

And today, he is driving himself in to town for his lab work so chauffering requirements are getting some much needed relief.

There's a whole herd of flatbellies who seem intent on knocking me out of the top 100 world racing ranking so I am off to show 'em that old farts that cain't see outta one eye and are blind in the other and have bursitis in both shoulders and a bit of reumatiz in both hands can still be a handful when it comes to virtually building world class race cars and keeping them 'tween the fences and shiney side up...

You all have a good day...

'Morning all. Been too long since I had the time to sit and visit.

Hey Maxc. Beamer send me a link and told me to follow. Started my Monday with a combination of tears and a smile. It's not a bad thing. You know Annie's got that blue dress all ironed and hanging on a hook. One day my friend you'll have that dance. Thanks for making my Monday.

Spaz:cool:

Kick some butt Chief...show them how it's done:kiss:

Hey, great to hear that RJ is out and about :)

So much to catch up with.... I haven't been on much during the weekend and I've had a hellish Monday.
Today, a crew started digging up our street to install natural gas piping. Wherever they've done that, they managed to cut telephone lines or bust water pipes or both. Sure enough my telephone was cut off most of the morning.... and they are still several blocks away... the best is yet to come!
Ohh, it's going to be a fun few weeks until they are done and get the hell out of here :D

:rose:
