Temperature Play!?!

So the other day I bought some art supplies, canvas's, paint, paint brushes and that sort of thing. The kids and I are going to try to paint a few things this year. It got me to thinking about something I read on another thread. I think it was called Dom secrets about what really works on thier subs.

A paint brush, hot water and me? *smiles* Oh yeah, it's on my list now for future temp play along with that ice dildo I have chillin' in the freezer.

At some point I'll find the time and energy to hit that.

I am always looking for more ideas if anyone has some?

I can tell you that the wife and I have used artists paintbrushes an they are certainly a very interesting toy. Different styles (fan, pointed, flat) and sizes have different effects especially when applied to the clit and both sets of lips. Never tried it with temperature before but I'm sure that it must make it even more interesting.

They can be loads of fun. the shape is very good for doing many different things. BTW sent you a PM and just realized that you have just about 10 times the number of posts I have. Does this mean you are 10 times more experienced?

We tried hot wax lastnight. It was a little too warm for him when it was dripping on his back...but he was suprised to see that I had made myself a pair of wax "gauntlets" I had little specklies all over my hands and forearms. Brings back child hood memories of my mom screaming at me because I wouldn't stop making molds of my hands...then I did the worst. At my cousins wedding the center pieces were these candle arrangements...little votives in glass. She had the recepttion at this fancy high born type winery...maaaaaan was it boring (the cheese was good though)...so I blew out one of the candles on my table and started dipping my fingers in one by one to make little finger toppers. Then I walked around tapping them on things cause it sounded cool.

I was always doing that too only with glue and there was this thing I would do to temporarily paralyze my hands too. I loved that. I rarely played with wax as a child because the 'rents were all funny about that. They knew I loved playing with fire a lot.

It's very hot and humid here, in Louisiana. The climate effects everything one does or feels. Being tied, arms stretched over my head in the sweltering heat is such a turn-on if you can give yourself over to the sensation. Don't totally give up till you've tried a few different kinds of candles--melting points do vary. Obviously, the softer the candle, the better--try marking them with your fingernail before you buy, and avoid any that are hard to mark.

It's possible that other parts of his body might be more tolerant--I actually find that my hands and my feet take heat better than any other part of me, so that's what I use to test new things.

I hope the two of you can find a way to make this work, because it sounds you, in particular, have a predisposition for wax.

DO not use gel candles. The gel melts at about 150-170 degrees.. major *not in a fun spanky way* pain. Personal experience here folks... owie. I cringe just thinking about it.

My Dh likes to use those tall candles encased in glass sometimes they have those cheesy religious pics on them ... like prayer candles I guess.He says they give a nice big pool of wax if lit in advance. We get ours at the ethnic section of the supermarket... but I spose you could also try catholic supply stores... or maybe not.

Yeah, all of the sites I found that talked about wax play said gel candles are BAD. I know the ones you're talking about. I used to find them at dollar stores. My friend and I would leave them in the sun and take them out of the jars (not to the point of melting, just enough to warm it up) then we would make wax sculptures..definitely a soft wax! Only problem is if you live in a hot climate the figures need to be refridgerated or they melt and make a mess something awful!!!

Okay, for some reason I'm not really in the mood to write about all this so I may not write it so well.

The other night I was doing temperature play on my husband. It had started off with figging which I will write about in more detail there.

Well actually it started with a pretty strong feeling that he needed to be played with that night. LOL!

The other day the new toys came. There was this little kit called the Spank Me! Kit. It came with this stupid looking little rubber flogger, two black tea lights, cooling and warming lotions. I thought it was pretty useless. My husband showed me the flogger could be felt even through jeans, that made me feel better about the silly looking thing.

I decided this was the perfect time to go get the ice dildo I had made. It was very cold. I liked it a lot but I couldn't take it for long inside just a minute and a half or so.
