Yes, it is a beautiful area. It has especially grown between SA and Boerne and Boerne and Austin. It's crazy. I could use a little Spring before summer hits.

We went to Fredericksburg a couple years ago for the first time in a decade. The traffic on 290 between there and Johnson City was insane and nothing like I remembered. I'm sure it has to do with all the wineries that have opened. Some of the out-of-the-way places we used to frequent aren't so out of the way anymore. Still a great area, though.

Upside is you only have what, maybe six to eight weeks until the wildflowers start popping up?
