The 50 Plus Cafe, Pub, All-Nite Greasy Spoon and Dive Bar

I still have some catching up to do, but I’m disappointed I didn’t catch up on page 666! 😈

NYC traffic was a breeze. I’d never seen it this lite. I guess the trip to the dentist for my mom‘s denture replacement went OK. She’s 95 and the guy said it’d be a minimum of four visits. And that it’s hard to make it perfect.

I’m so fucking pissed at the rehab place for losing or throwing out her dentures!

I’ll catch up later tonght!
They r probably in someone else's mouth

Entirely possible. I'd opt for the lo-jack option on this next set. :ROFLMAO:

Lovely! Hope you're enjoying every minute.

HVT during Fleet Week? 🤨

I miss the Good Old Days at work. Days when "a little excitement" meant a carjacker sneaking in through the warehouse to escape police. Or rival gang members throwing down in the lobby after going through the metal detectors. So much easier to deal with than the "wasp in the living room" bullshit of today.

I did not get stung. No Epi-Pens were needed. Will clean up the carcass later. The treaty was broken. No regrets. Self defense.

I talk to the cats
When I had them, I talked to the cats more than I did to people. They were better conversationalists and better company.
For a long time she had ill.fitting dentures
Same w/ my great aunt. They would click. Poor woman had a slight tremor in her later years. Often sounded like a walking morse code machine.
At least it has learned that I almost never talk about ducks.
Mine's a prude. B******* this and b****** that.

Oh I will have to read first
Always. Not the best at contractions, possessives, proper noun spellings, and homophones IMO.
It helps me make sense sometimes to talk to/at the screen/you.
One of my favorite movies. Thanks to Shirley, I sometimes talk to wall, too. ;) :ROFLMAO:

Do you ever get in music moods? I only like certain styles of music at certain times of the day…Or days of the week. For instance, my late 60’s and early 70’s singer songwriter’s have to be played around noon to 3pm…kinda weird? Sundays are for Classical and Opera, and Jazz is early evening. New Wave/First Wave any damn time and banging heavy metal is reserved for late night listening for me. Anyhow…just flying my Freak Flag tonight…

Feeling a little Joni…during her boundary pushing Hejira. All backing band members were accomplished Jazz musicians with one notable exception. A young Jaco Pastorius. He had released an album, played with other know musicians but was just on the cusp of hitting it big. Enjoy. If you’re in that kind of mood!😊

Hun. It's hard adapting to retirement I'm sure. My parents drive me crazy sometimes over it. But think positive. You can move, you can think and you can do things. Alot of other people cant.
