Do you ever get in music moods? I only like certain styles of music at certain times of the day…Or days of the week. For instance, my late 60’s and early 70’s singer songwriter’s have to be played around noon to 3pm…kinda weird? Sundays are for Classical and Opera, and Jazz is early evening. New Wave/First Wave any damn time and banging heavy metal is reserved for late night listening for me. Anyhow…just flying my Freak Flag tonight…

Feeling a little Joni…during her boundary pushing Hejira. All backing band members were accomplished Jazz musicians with one notable exception. A young Jaco Pastorius. He had released an album, played with other know musicians but was just on the cusp of hitting it big. Enjoy. If you’re in that kind of mood!

I like music as well. And it's more of a mood thing for me too. My sister's actually a trained opera singer. She wants some competitions in Europe. And have you ever heard of Bobby Floyd or Robert Floyd he's a jazz pianist.. he plays piano at my church. He was nominated for a Grammy and I think 2021 or 2019 I can't remember now. He was in The Count Basie Orchestra he George with a famous guy who I can't remember his name but I can see his face in my head.. shoot

My mom picked our parish based on the musical director. Was serendipitous that he moved parishes just before my dad got transferred at work. When she heard his new parish was up here, she tracked it down and that's where they looked for houses.

I miss the Good Old Days at work. Days when "a little excitement" meant a carjacker sneaking in through the warehouse to escape police. Or rival gang members throwing down in the lobby after going through the metal detectors. So much easier to deal with than the "wasp in the living room" bullshit of today.

I did not get stung. No Epi-Pens were needed. Will clean up the carcass later. The treaty was broken. No regrets. Self defense.
