Gonna be hot as balls the next few daze.

Had the weirdest negotiation at a garage sale early this morning. I saw a guy was selling all kinds of tools and ladders and equipment. Got there early and he wanted $80 for a 24’ Louisville extension ladder. That’d come in handy I thought… it was beat up and old, so let’s check…

Me: waddya thinking on the ladder?
Him: 80 bucks.
Me: hmmmm… too rich for my blood
Him: 50 bucks then
Me: (ok, this dude will move) $20
Him: (hems and haws) ok. $20 but ya gotta move it yourself.
Me: deal.

I thought maybe we’d get down to 50 but he was willing to go lower. It’s a monstrosity!!

Whe I came home, a huge branch came down from one of our trees. Cut it up bwfro lunch and bring it to the brush pile and stack the wood I want to split.
