I love the nurses here. And the nurses assisting my ophthalmologist were amazing. However the intake team was cold and everything was like a job and production oriented. I was underwhelmed. And one gentleman ahead of me was skipped for a “friend” during intake.

There is always one....and I hate to say it but nursing has changed soooo much in the last 10 to 20 years. First problem is everyone says they are a nurse when they are not. The are a nursing assistant or a medical assistant. And a real nurse knows who they are. they act like a wanna be. Don't want to do the work but impersonate the part. It is like expecting to see princess Diana and you get stuck with Camilla. Or they are a nurse who doesn't give 5 fucks about patients. They r in it for a paycheck or to land a doc so they can retire and have the easy life. Sorry you went through it....

We did it to ourselves by not demanding respect and fighting with eachother over stupid sh8t and giving concessions for the important stuff like patient ratios and an appropriate pension. We traded for pizza parties and atta girls
