had to rebuild one of the carbs and replace a bad fuel line...and the tank had some serious rust going on. Had him change the oil while he was at it. I was pleased... thought we were going out tonight, but plans changed... i'll just go home and ride for a bit and then shine her up as much as possible... baby needs some cosmetics one of these days too. Ah well, knees in the breeze is the most important ingredient in a wonderful day.

Life kicking me a bit right now, but I'll survive. I have been riding everyday
Today, Tuesday is Bike night in the next town, so that's where I am headed now...

Great shot EB! Somehow you stopping traffic doesn't surprise me at all!!! Kisses and hugs to you and Steve... Take care of that foot!!! You'll need it to balance!!!

Foot is doing well...Taking it's time but hasn't stopped us from riding. I have only been on short runs so far. The brace helps when riding, however, I have progressed to sneakers and hope to be back in my boots soon. I have my other foot scheduled to be operated on in mid October, but that one shouldn't be as major as the first one, thank God. Doc told me I should be able to walk on the second one right after the operation, so that one should not hold be down.

I have also been out bike shopping. I think I am going to go with a Dyna Street Bob in black. I loved the looks and feel of it. I probably will not get one til they go on the "end of year sale". In the meantime, I will be taking a starter course on riding so I can get my license and know how to ride before I get the bike. I am soooo excited! It will feel good being able to ride alone. I don't mind being the "bitch", but I really want to go it solo too. ​

Glad the foot is on the mend... Laconia is in full swing ...

We have a plan to do the "loop", in August, too. (From Richmond to Annapolis, cross over to the Eastern Shore, then back via the Bay Bridge Tunnel, through Va. Beach, then east back to Richmond). (psssssssstttt....Joe and Mrs J.....hint hint )

Flying in to let ya'll know that I had a conversation with Joe.
Apparently their computer died. It seems they need to get it fixed or they may in the unfortunate circumstance as having to replace it completely.
Joe and MrsJ are joining a group of us on a road trip next weekend. We will be riding the "loop", as I described earlier. I will have my camera and I will remind them to have theirs. Will see what we have to post (as in pics) after we return.

Hey everyone!

We had a great time on our road trip.

Joe, MrsJ, Steve and I and several others battled the heat and the fridiots on the road, but a good time was had by all. I took several pics during the trip and some videos, as well. Way too many to load the thread with so I posted them on webshots. Anyone who cares to peek, here is the link.

Too long since I bumped in here!!!!! Still no computer for Joe and MrsJ....
We miss you!!!!

This year the annual Veterans Appreciation Day was held in Winterpark, CO instead of Cripple Creek. It was different..not as good in my mind but the ride up was fantastic. I finally got to do some 15 MPH switchback turns In Berthoud Pass...WOW it was something...and I didn't falter on nary a one!!!!
