Another great day for a ride.... weird that we seem to go from winter and skip right to summer some days... i think it got into the 80s today....

It was about 70 here yesterday.. nice afternoon for a ride. This morning when I got up to go work out.. I just by instinct jumped on the bike..38 was a little chilly at 5am. Watch out, out there... had a deer jump in front of me this morning too.. close enough I could have slapped her ass... Scary

Deer are my biggets fear while riding in the dark. They are like rats around here.Glad to hear you made it throught unscathed.

We have been 38-40 in the am and in the 70's during the afternoon. I'm actually on a job for a few days that I can leave my tools, so I've been riding to work the last 3 days. That cold 20 minute ride always seem to stretch in 90 mminutes on the way home.

The bikes great, but my van is falling apart right now. Last month it was the transmission and brakes, and this morning one of the new tires I put on it 2 weeks ago is totally flat. Thank god for road hazard warrenties.
Have a good day, its time for me to pull out the air compressor , fill the tire and get up to the dealer.

Got my new specs and shades.... i sure do miss insurance.... it sucks having it all out of pocket! There went my new saddle bags...for the time being....and my chaps....

And I was crying because I haven't pulled my shorts out yet and it was only 80 here today. But I love the increase daylight and the increased energy it gives me. I am one of those that goes into a winter slump due to lack of sunlight. MrsJ is also enjoying the increased energy.
Everytime we think we have saved enough pennies to get the hardbags for our bike, something else comes up.
Doesn't it suck how the realities of life cut into our fun?

Today was a total waste of a day as far as work was concerned, but got a great 2 hour ride in this evening. Still cleaning all the bug goo off the helmet.
