Yes... i still haven't had my riding drench... looking forward to it! We need the moisture anyway... and i do so love a spring shower that pools in your lap on the bike... *snigger*


I had to shelter one out friday evening. I wasn't dressed to take the ride home soaking wet, so I actually used some commen sense and sheltered this rain out. I don't mind it if the temp drops a few degree when it is 85-90, but when the starting temp is only 70???????

I know you'll get that drench sooner or later, hopefully sooner.

Today was a total waste of a day as far as work was concerned, but got a great 2 hour ride in this evening. Still cleaning all the bug goo off the helmet.
How was your day? Great I hope.

It was a good day.... I spent it looking out the window....watching the bikes go by!!!!!!!!!

And I was crying because I haven't pulled my shorts out yet and it was only 80 here today. But I love the increase daylight and the increased energy it gives me. I am one of those that goes into a winter slump due to lack of sunlight. MrsJ is also enjoying the increased energy.
Everytime we think we have saved enough pennies to get the hardbags for our bike, something else comes up.
Doesn't it suck how the realities of life cut into our fun?

oh for the days when i was young and Totally irresponsible! Then the bags and chaps would have come First...and rent be damned. *chuckle*

Sounds like me. When I actually got to work, I spent all day on the road running errands. I kept putting my hand out and waving at all the bikes and they just looked at me like I was out of my mind.

Wait until it is really warm and I don't have to worry about my tire temp.. And if I'm riding with my super. from work, all that role model stuff will be right out the window.

You should be on spring break and enjoying all the babes in little small triangles for clothes and taking pics for us. What are you doing here? ( All the schools here are on break this week)

Well there are two problems with that.

I AM on spring break(go back Tuesday) and trust me I would love nothing more than to be out there with all the women in bikinis, but I am an ART student which means that I'm BROKE. What little money I do have gets put into buying supplies.

I also don't have a car.(Can't get to spring break on a wheelchair)

I also don't think I would get much attention since they would all be 19 year old, well toned college students and I'm just a few weeks away from 25 and definately NOT "well toned".

Yesterday was perfect... sun, low winds..we rode until we got lost and then found our way out apple orchards, rolling hills, your two best friends.... it doesn't get a whole lot better.... Ride safe every one..and happy easter

I know I'm going to be busy once I go back though. Our bronze molds come back from the foundry and then we have to grind, snadblast, chase, and patina our pieces.....I may have to camp out.
