Yes...for the changing of the Aspen trees...it was incredible...it's a wonderful drive anytime of the year but fall has no match....

And I keep trying to take some nice pics of my rides, and they just don't seem to stand up to the scenery of yours. I give up.


Sorry I've been gone so long, but my father has taken a bad turn in his hip replacement and now we are looking at another operation to deal with an old back injury.
It looks like I will be spending alot of time dealing with him now since he can't really walk and and I need to be there to help out alot.
I will check in from time to time and I thank everyone for helping to keep this thread alive.

That sounds like a good time. I would love to see all those vintage cars and bikes.
MrsJ and I were out today and ran into a guy that had one of the 06 retro Triumph Bonnevilles. We talked for a good 20 minutes about the new retro Triumphs and Ducatti's that have been put out this year.
Seeing all the real vintage cars and bikes still out on a track would have been alot of fun. And its great that you got share that with your dad.

We had a great weekend and got a few hours to go see the Blue Angels at the Airshow on Andrews Air Force Base. This is where they keep the presidents plane, so security was tight, but we had a blast. I took a few pics, but the action was just to fast and I gave up and just enjoyed the show.

I'm trying to catch up on your thread and find out where you are going next weekend. I did catch something about a bunch of hunky biker dudes and alot of pics.
I should be out of my insane schedule by Weds, but if I don't catch up with you, have a great time.

Catching up is HARD! I'm leaving Friday and riding to Red River, New Mexico for 4 days of rally! It's my first rally and I am more than excited!!!!

Sorry for the long absence myself... dealing with the death of a friend myself... been a rough go, but he goes in the ground tomorrow and the good memories are taking over... always a good thing in the circle of life....
