The Biker Chicks of Lit

We had the same bad weather...Went to a "family day" thing for Steve's work early in the day...then took Phil to KD for the evening....well, I suppose it was not a very good idea....I ended up in the hospital  :(

Too much "weather" for me I guess

Anyway....I have more pics to share of the bike class Steve graduated from :)

I will post random pics from it...they furnished Buell bikes for the class....they did not impress me but the instructor had one that did :catroar:

I will show his bike first
Hey M
Glad to see Steve had fun... Buells are actually a great first bike.. and the larger lightenings, etc are pretty fast too. I was looking at them and decided I wasn't grown up enough for one  Crotch Rockets are the reason I stopped riding almost 20 years ago... I know I am not mature enough to handle them. I ahhhh like speed. ;) That big tourer looks comfy tho...:D

Good Morning Everybody

Great pics EB That is one thing I haven't seen before. It definately is alot better than the standard trailer.

No worries Copper and Joe. Everyone in my building already knows how nuts I am LOL, but I still promised Mom I would do all that INSIDE before I went out.

Joe: You need to come out here so you can do some riding. Its been over 90 here all week....CALIFORNIA ROCKS!!!!

I hope everyone on the east coast has survived the 5 day of record rains. All I have been doing for the last 24 hrs. is pumping water of our clients basements and sealing broken glass in basement window wells. I spent a few hours checking out the Potamac River this evening, and I'll try to get some photos tommorow.

I can think of better ways to go to heaven ;) :catroar: :D
I was a little younger and niave then. :D
Ok, alot younger, the number 3 had always been the 2nd digit in my age(except for age 3), I hadn't hit the decade of 3 being the first digit yet.

California has every biblical plague and then some. Cali has more mother nature issues then I care to think about. We haven't had this kind of rain and flooding in 150 years. I think I deal with those odds. The odds of an earthquake, mudslide, monsoon, fires and traffic gridloc? What else is missing, oh yea, the locust plague? ;)
I know Cali is beautiful, and I would love to spend a week or two travelling there. I just don't see me living there. Maybe up in the wine country.

Firts of all welcome, both to the thread and to Lit.. We are low key group on this thread and always welcome some new blood. Loved the pics from Sturgis. Did you plan on hitting Sturgis, or just happen on it?
I've never been to SD, but I know the scenery is lovely, and to be there during the Sturgis rally would be a really big plus.

It was a crazy trip back and forth first across canada from the west coast all the way to ontario then back through the states. as we were driving down the i-90 we were seeing hundreds of bikes and i said to my woman i bet the sturgis ralley is on. guess what...it was and we had to drive right through it...we stopped took some pics talked to lots of bikers...just an amazing time...we plan to actually do the whole ralley sometime in the future but this year we got Vegas Baby! Besides I wanna have my trike before we get there....

How hard are you getting it. Our local weather watcher station has over 13 inches since Sat.. I know it started moving north, but I don't really know how hard it hit your area.
I hope you didn't get hit to hard.

Sounds like a blast. Have a great time in Vegas. And I think Sturgis has to be done on some sort of bike/trike, not a cage.

Hey I will have things in the works after this week...I am going to special order it...But I do not want them to deliver it...I think it would be awesome for you to show up on it, then hand over the keys (after him thinking it is one of your bikes ;) )...Your thoughts?
